Lovely place

Been a few times now and tried different things on the menu (Sunday dinner, tofish and chips, cakes, etc), all the food has been lovely. Really cool decor too and all the staff are very nice and helpful. Next time will be trying the salad bar as that looks delicious too!

Nice enough

Went for breakfast. Decent, though a couple of things (tofu scramble, bacon) could have been a bit more cooked, though perhaps that's just my taste. Very nice people running it, definitely worth a visit

Pros: Good service, Not pricy, Decent food

Fabulous food & great service

We were welcomed in and seated by their lovely server Riki. Riki is perfect at her job and was attentive without being overbearing. Perfect! The food was absolutely delicious - Yorkshire portions and a great choice of vegan dishes.

Pros: Lots of choice on the menu, Professional but friendly service, Great portions at a fair price

Sunday lunch

Been for Sunday lunch a couple of times, the main menu and breakfast. Each time has been brilliant. Warm, welcoming and great food.

The Christmas Sunday lunch is worth getting in for. Oh my days. It's just great. And love the root mash... Reminds me of home.

The best food ever

100% plant based. Great not to have to keep asking if it's vegan. Had a Sunday lunch on our first visit to big scoffs after being to little scoffs many times. Loved the food so much, can't wait to come back mid week and try something else from the menu.

Pros: Big portions & generous gravy boat, Yorkshire pudding & side order cauliflower cheese, Friendly staff (Ria & Sam)

Cons: Root mash on menu but not served

Amazing. The food is delicious, the portions are so generous and the atmosphere and decor is lovey.

It’s so cool here the food is delicious, there’s no way you would miss meat whether you’re plant based or vegan. The food is tasty and the flavours all work well. Sunday lunch is delicious and huge, and the arancini balls with sauce are so Devine.

Pros: Delicious food , Large portions , Friendly atmosphere

Definitely worth the wait!

I'm glad to see Big Scoffs has its own Happy Cow listing now as I've been several times but added my pictures to the Little Scoffs profile.

Just like the OG Scoffs, Big Scoffs has that lovely welcoming family feel and you can feel/taste the love that's gone into the food.

So far I've been for Sunday dinner and Chippy Tea so I definitely plan to go back and try more of the new menu.

Book in advance and make sure you don't miss out!

Pros: Great service, Yorkshire Puds, "Turkey" on the Sunday Dinner
