Innovative, vegan options at Ohio City eatery

About four years ago, in 2021, the owners of Plum rename this location to heart of Gold and created an entirely new menu. With the new menu, several more vegan options and others that could be easily made vegan.
On our first visit, we enjoyed the vegan focaccia with housemaid jelly; a mixed melon salad topped with fried miso, tofu; and a beat and cannellini burger with vegan sauce on a vegan sourdough bread.
Everything was innovative, delicious, and reflected a unique taste sensation.
Service was excellent. The waiter was never intrusive, but checked on us from time to time. Either he verified with us what made an entrée vegan or we checked with him to see that we’d adapted an entrée to be vegan.
The portions for appetizers and the entrée were generous.

Delicious

So many vegan alternatives you can rode there, and they are delicious!!! It’s a very good atmosphere as well. Would give 5 stars if I was allowed in the app.
