Flaming restaurant deserving of a flaming review - Edit
Flame on vegan is a wonderful place owned by a wonderful family. The beautiful decorations compliment the delicious food in a vibrant way. Going there with my relatives was just a joyous time.

Oyster mushroom heaven - Edit
This is a sandwich/fries kind of place, though there is an alkaline meal with grilled oyster mushrooms instead of fried. I had the crispy veken (oyster mushroom) sandwich, which was filled with crispy mushrooms and coleslaw and was really tasty. I was expecting to find it difficult to have a lot of choices to eat in this city, so I was happy to find Flame on vegan.

The star of the show at this restaurant is the skilled preparation of oyster mushrooms by Flame On's talented upbeat chef. Whether you order the mushrooms grilled or fried they are equally delicious. One of the most popular items on their menu is the Crispy Verken Sandwich. The crispy verken is oyster mushrooms, breaded and deep fried. The sandwich is served with coleslaw and a choice of sauces. For my most recent visit I decided to order the Flamin Alkaline plate. A healthy choice of grilled seasoned oyster mushrooms, fluffy quinoa, saucy chickpeas and kale. The portions are generous but it was so good that I managed to eat it all.

Great spot owned by a great couple - Edit
Found this spot and showed up almost at closing. We don’t have vegan spots at home so needed this! The couple who runs it are so amazingly warm and friendly. Food was amazing - well seasoned, tasted great. We ended up getting a bunch of their merch to take home! Now on our list when we drove through and we will be back.

I got the pulled “pork”. It was made with mushrooms and the seasoning was so delicious and flavorful. Definitely worth a visit.

I found Flame On Vegan via internet and was surprised to not see it on HappyCow. This is a great Caribbean/American inspired all vegan restaurant. The owner is fantastic and proud of his food. I will definitely be back my next visit. The Jamaican patties and Flaming Peurto Rican were delicious!
