Exceptional cooking class - Edit
My 3-dish cooking class was beyond my expectations! It was a private class with Trang, the chef of the restaurant. (I chose this class because of the exceptional dishes we had at the restaurant - some of the best I’ve had in Vietnam)
Read moreWe made all of the components of a vegan banh mi, including the mushroom pate and sauce. It’s the pate that elevates their banh mi beyond others.
We also made the exceptional golden salad (with lions mane mushrooms and mango), and a really satisfying version of cao lau.
The class was very well organized, with pre-printed recipes with ingredient list and method. It was very much an active participation class, where I did much of the prep and cooking. I find this kind of class much more rewarding.
We used Google Translate to discuss more complex issues, and I learned a great deal about Vietnamese food culture. Trang and her family were warm, inviting, and checking in often to ensure I was having a good experience.
This will be one of the highlights of my trip. Highest recommendation!

Some of the best food!! - Edit
We stopped here for lunch on the way to the beach and I couldn’t be more impressed. Such a clean place with warm staff. We got a noodle dish, sushi and the fired spring rolls. All of it was amazing! Would love to come back. Try as much as you can!

I stopped randomly as I was riding by and saw “CHAY” on the sign out front. This is a very important word for Vegans to learn in Vietnam. The atmosphere is lovely, the food delicious and well prepared and the service was great. A very nice family owned place!

Staff were lovely and food was delicious! Satisfied my cravings and was very affordable! I got the lime tea, maki sushi, and black bean noodles. Menu is in English and Viet with pictures and everything was fantastic!

I had the My Quang. Very yummy and healthy with lots of fresh herbs. Be very careful with the extra fresh chilli though! I can't wait to try more.

Really good food especially the fried spring rolls. They come with a delicious peanut sauce. Banh Mi was great too. The Cao Lau was really tasty as well.
