Gorgeous meal - Edit
Amazing traditional French food 🫶 we collectively had the French onion soup, boeuf bourginon, the day’s special and crème brûlée and it was all fantastic. All felt very homemade and comforting, and was much better than some other very fancy Parisian restaurants so 1000% recommend!

Amazing traditional french food - Edit
I liked the traditional french adaptations into a vegan menu. It is the best and probably only way people with these dietary preferences can explore and try french cuisine.
Read moreIt was all a celebration of vegetables in a French lens. From the menu, to the decorations of the restaurant, it all seemed very authentic.

Lovely vegan French restaurant - Edit
We adored this little restaurant. Has a lovely atmosphere, very classically French. I had the French onion soup which was soooo good and tofu stew, which was super scrumptious. Highly recommend.

Vegan French onion soup - Edit
April 2026- The cheese on the French onion soup has gotten ever better. It was torched to perfection. It was creamy and smooth. The broth and the croutons were delicious as always.
Read moreMarch 2025-I wanted vegan French onion soup and creme brulee. The French onion soup was amazing. The croutons with the melted cheese was so good. The creme brulee had the satisfying crack to the top layer. The creme was good. It had apricot pieces. The texture was more fluffy than creme. But I enjoyed it. The place is adorable and the service was great. Staff spoke English. I tried my French and she helped me when I needed English.

Very good vegan French food. The main dishes are around 20€, so it’s a bit more pricey. Desserts for 8€, we had the creme brûlée. Would recommend. Very nice staff

The seitan they use as a meat substitute is tender and juicy and not chewy at all. The onion soup is good! I didn’t like the desserts too much however. Overall good food.

Nice onion soup - Edit
It was quiet here so quick service. The onion soup was nice but I didn’t care for the cheese on top. I removed it and ate the drowning bread and soup which was yummy even on a hot spring day. I wanted to try the crème brûlée but trying to not eat too much which is near impossible in Paris.

Long-established vegan place with traditional dishes - Edit
A welcoming place in an interesting area of Paris. It was nice to be able to order vegan versions of some traditional foods - I had a buckwheat pancake (I think these can be vegan anyway but aren't always). The shared starter of various pâtés was excellent - the chickpea one really tasted of chickpeas. The portions here are generous but not excessive so I was able to fit in a dessert (a berry crumble with chestnut flour in the topping). We had been to this restaurant in its earlier (Rambuteau) location about 15 years ago, so were delighted to find that standards remain high! Front of house staff are friendly and enthusiastic.

Dissapointing Meal and Service - Edit
I really wanted to like this one! I saved up for one fancy meal on my last night in Europe and of course chose a fully vegan restaurant. Unfortunately, I found the food quite bland. The Mushroom Pate was pretty good, but there was not nearly enough bread for the amount of pate. It was served with a (very mustardy) salad which wasn’t too bad. My friend got the seitan bourguignon that tasted fine, but had a very soft, spongey texture (not pleasant for my meat-eating friend). However, I got a savory crepe dish that genuinely had no flavor! It was served with the same salad as the pate which was too bad, because the other options seemed to come with some rice or potatoes. I asked for an extra side of potatoes but it was never brought out (this was an option on the menu, but I guess they forgot). The texture of the crepe filling was also a bit mushy which would have been fine if the taste was okay, but it made a disappointing meal. However, I wouldn’t have left a review at this point because I want to support vegan businesses. The real shocker is that both my friend and I felt an odd “crunch” while eating. I got 3 of these before I stopped eating entirely. It didn’t taste like anything (definitely not rock salt or pepper) but felt like I had bit into a small rock or large grains of sand, which hurt my teeth a bit. My suspicion is that the vegetables were not thoroughly washed and there was grit from the dirt, which I would like to not be fussy about but I hate to think I could have damaged my teeth. I never do this, but I tried to let the waiter know so that the chefs would check things out before serving other customers. The server was very dismissive and while he seemed nice, he tried to tell me there’s no way this could have happened. Very disappointing! I feel bad that I spent a good chunk of money on such a sad meal and had my concerns totally dismissed.

Unbelievable French food but vegan - the French onion soup was absolutely unreal 😍 we loved the rest of our food too including seitan stew and seitan steak. The crème brûlée would have been nicer if it wasn’t fruit flavoured IMO but a really special meal overall ❤️

Great French Cuisine - Edit
Great opportunity to try classic french cuisine in a cozy atmosphere (though it could have used some background music haha!). The servers were very kind and accomadating. The French Onion Soup was delicious and the creme brulee with apricot was HEAVENLY! For main courses we tried the seitan roast, which was unfortunately quite heavy and not well balanced (especially with the potato side dish), and the daily special which was a yummy mushroom stuffed pie. Left feeling very full but satisfied!

Authentic experience - Edit
Amazing to be able to try vegan versions of some French classics. I had the beef bourginon, it had a lot of flavour and the seitan looked so much like beef! My partner tried the crepe. Then we shared a chocolate mousse and creme Brulee. Both were really good. Nice drinks and super friendly service. English and French menus.

Traditional French dishes - Edit
They offer perfect vegan versions of traditional French dishes and the portions are very big. The vegan french onion soup was one of the best things I tried in Paris. The Seitan Bourguignon was full of flavor and the chestnut crumble was a warm and comforting dessert. The atmosphere is calm and cozy.
