Wedding Breakfast left a lot to be desired

I came here for a wedding and the three courses provided were not great. A soup that tasted like a knorr vegetable stock cube, a weird lentil stew, and a forgettable pudding. I would like to return to try the rest of the menu but I doubt I ever will.

Lovely place for special occasion

The afternoon tea at Oulton Hall is of a very high standard, with delicious sandwiches (vegan cheese and pickle, Mediterranean vegetables, hummus etc), scones and a selection of cakes. They have a range of teas and coffees too. Perfect for a present. The atmosphere is elegant and the house is beautiful. Staff were really friendly and attentive, and let us stay as long as we wanted.
