Authentic veganized dishes

I wanted to try some authentic veganized versions of Guatemalan dishes and was glad to find this place offers them. They have a good number of options and everything was delicious.

The service and setting was really nice too.

Yummy!

I had the tostones as appetizer and the vegan pepian and tamarind as entre it was very good! My husband had the portobello subanik and he was impressed. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the vegan options and twist and tricks to make sure to accommodate. They also have a vegan cheesecake 😋

Pros: Friendly and knowledgeable staff, Clean, Delicious vegan options

Cons: Pricey , Small portions

Excelentes platos regionales con opciones veganas

Qué gusto fue encontrar este lugar. Ya me había deprimido un poco al darme cuenta de que en Antigua la comida vegana, aunque sobra, no es muy creativa y casi no hay oferta de platos regionales aptos para personas veganas. Aquí todo, desde la comida, el ambiente, y el servicio está excelente.

Pensé que la sopa de aguacates iba a estar muy pesada pero tenía muy buen sabor y consistencia.. aunque dicen que es entrada, es una buena cantidad. El pepián de vegetales y los portobellos en subanik deliciosos, y eso que normalmente no me gustan los hongos, pero su preparación quedó muy bien.

Yo probé el cheesecake de mango, entiendo que también tienen de plátano. Rico y yo diría grande la porción.

So happy to find this place and finally find creative regionally inspired vegan dishes, which seem to be missing from Antigua's extensive but (let's be honest) boring and repetitive vegan scene.
Service is excellent, ambience is wonderful, and staff can guide you to the vegan dishes. On the menu they are marked with the V for vegetarian and a small non-dairy symbol.

Hopefully they add even more regional dishes to their vegan offering and continue to lift up local ingredients and recipes.
