Good clean eating - Edit
It’s very good if you want to eat more plant based or clean. (If you are like my picky husband, it’s good but may not be for you). I personally loved it especially their “cheesesteak”, desserts, and smoothies .

Very good vegan food. - Edit
Large place with plenty of seating. Many food items plus smoothies and juices. I really enjoyed my noodle bowl and juice, my son enjoyed his sandwich and smoothie. We would definitely go here again when visiting Phoenix.

Underwhelming - Edit
I got one of the specials here which was a burger, and it was very very bland. So bland in fact, I asked for a side of hummus to help give the burger some flavor.
Read moreService was very sub par as well since the servers were honestly quite impatient and short with me when I asked questions about the menu. It also took quite a long time to get my bland burger and even longer for the hummus which was very surprising because I was the only customer there after the couple who came in before me left after they got their smoothies. I can’t say I’ll ever be coming back here even to give this place a second chance.
Pros: Vegan , Smoothies, specials, pancakes, Vegan desserts
Cons: Service , Wait time, Bland food & Expensive

Two stars is too many for this place - Edit
When I came across this restaurant on Happy Cow j was beyond thrilled to give them a try. I was excited to try the French toast and pancake dishes. We arrived Sunday around 10a and already they were out of both those options, which was ok because they had sooo many other delicious menu choices. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito and I ordered the tofu scramble dish and a large pineapple orange juice (fresh squeezed)
Read moreOur juice came out first and we could not wait to take a sip. Unfortunately, we were startled when we realized that they must have included the orange rines in the juice. It was insanely bitter and almost not drinkable. Next our main dishes come out and much to my surprise, there is very little tofu in my tofu scramble dish. It was comprised mostly of frozen broccoli, carrot and red pepper. $2 charge for extra avocado gave me 4 slices of avocado on my plate. Everything was quite bland/flavorless. Overall, we had a very poor experience and will not be returning. I am quite surprised 24 Carrots has so many great reviews. Maybe we just went on the wrong day 🤷🏻♀️
Pros: None
Cons: They use frozen vegetables, They use frozen fruit for their “fresh” juice, Bland

I love that I don't have to pick apart the menu here since everything is vegan. The best part is that they have some awesome deserts.😍

Raw and Vegan - Edit
This place is delightful! The menu is extensive with dozens of juices and smoothies, along with food items like tacos, sandwiches/ wraps, salads and raw foods. There is a delightful bakery display case filled with soy free and gluten free creations.
Read moreThe hardest part about ordering food here was the number of choices. There are daily specials, too, tempting me to order off the wall, but in the end, I was drawn by the zucchini marinara raw noodles. The texture of these noodles was the most unique ribbon-like fettuccine-like raw noodles I've ever had, it was great. They have soup, nori rolls, nachos and salads that are raw. Great selection.
The place is calm and relaxing, and everyone seems very laid back. It's a nice atmosphere. I would go here again if I could.
Pros: Raw items, Juices, Daily specials

Ick, raw food - Edit
If you're looking for raw food this might be the place for you, but we (a vegan and a meat eater) were very disappointed. The jalapeno poppers were highly disappointing, not fried, not jalapeno. The hummus was okay, it tasted like hummus, but wasn't exactly. The pumpkin nog was good though.

Very Yummy!! - Edit
I ordered the best sandwich with a side salad and berry smoothie. The food was well made and very tasty! It’s a bit difficult to find decent vegan cuisine here in AZ, and this place is a godsend. Am eyeing the entire case of desserts and plan to have some with coffee they serve here too-a full coffee bar, they also have free WiFi. I think I’ll stay here all day long.

The food was ok. I think I may need to go back and try it another time. The one person working when I was there was high as a kite and I think that may have altered the food quality

The food was bland and unimaginative . I could have thrown this together with leftovers from the fridge . The place felt like it was put together to take advantage of the recent upswing in vegan hipster dining and had no heart in it ...

Best Raw Spot - Edit
24 Carrots is probably one of the best vegan restaurants I have ever been to. The juice, the smoothies and the incredibly flavorful menu. I do wish the prices weren't so painful on the wallet, however I do respect quality. Personal favorites: PB&B smoothie and the bountiful raw wrap in a collard. Plenty of raw options on the menu.

Yummy Option - Edit
I really want to love this place. Their food is good, but their portions are just too small for the price. After eating dinner here twice, we still had to go and eat again later. The food is locally sourced and well made, but I would like a little more on my plate or a bit lower prices. Us Vegans eat A LOT!

My 24 Carrot Meal was More Like 10 Carrots - Edit
Maybe I went on an off day, because when I visited 24 Carrots half of my order was altered from what I read on the menu. I wish the raw chef had informed me instead of making substitutions.
Read moreSo if you're a picky eater like me, I suggest you check to be sure that the items you order are available.
This is what I had:
1. Raw jalapeno poppers - pieces of bell pepper stuffed with spicy almond "cheese" and dried cranberries atop field greens.
Very tasty. I think there were four poppers but unfortunately the almond spread wasn't thick enough to stay in the pepper. As I bit, it dribbled all over my shirt and crotch. Mmmm spicy cheese crotch! Eating on the run is a messy business.
2. Zucchini Noodle salad - spiralized zucchini, veggies, and seed medley atop field greens with choice of tahini or balsamic dressing.
Well that zucchini wasn't the only thing spiraling because the meal started to spiral downwards. I didn't see anything resembling a seed medley, and my request for tahini dressing went to no avail. Whatever I got tasted like vinaigrette. Not like. Not happy. So I was left with a beautiful salad of hard veggies that I was no longer interested in eating.
3. Raw Tacos - cabbage cups, walnut meat, avocado, salsa, veggies, cashew cream, and comes with a side.
I wasn't given cabbage cups, I was given a couple of flat dehydrated rounds that were used as soft taco shells. They tasted like beans. If you like beans, this will probably be your thing. I DID NOT like it. Also, the walnut meat was a fail for me. From how it tasted, the nuts had been soaked and then mixed with something (not sure what). I would have rather been given plain raw walnuts. And to add insult to injury the avocado slice was badly bruised. The chef should have thrown it out! Not happy with that melange.
4. Bountiful burger - butternut burger, spiced cranberry chutney, kale slaw, choice of bun or bed of greens, and comes with a side.
I was really looking forward to this butternut. I assumed it was butternut squash. Well you know what they say happens when you assume. I have no idea what part of the patty was butternut because all I could taste were beans. Again, if you like beans....this is your dish. The flavor was there, but the beans were a no go for me.
So this meal left me depressed. I think it would have been wonderful if only I was given the ingredients that I ass u me'd would have been available.
Pros: Raw food, Colourful
Cons: Unique choices

Local juice shop with good vegan food - Edit
This is the only place in town to get organic green juice. The food is great and the restaurant has a fun community atmosphere that makes you want to spend the whole day there, reading, eating, and getting desert. All vegan, no white sugar in the deserts.

good food. - Edit
My wife enjoyed this place more than me but I found it clean and the food good. The dessert (chocolate cake) was really good and the staff were friendly. I had the Buffalo cauliflower wrap, it was ok. My wife loved her wrap. My kid had a warm bowl. She liked it and it was a huge portion she couldn't finish. They forgot the girls smoothies but happily made them up quickly when we asked. A good place. I'd go back.
