I really liked the eclectic and funky atmosphere. The place is popular, and full of happy people eating and conversing. Service was very good and friendly, despite being so full. The little bowls we had were all very good. I especially liked my Buddha Bowl.

Because of the small portions you can try so many different dishes. However, they also offer normal sized dishes. We absolutely loved the food and would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Went to 1990 whilst I was visiting Berlin and I had a great time there. Yummy food and delicious tapas/starter options to order and share with friends. I will definitely be back.

Even if you can't book a table we didn't have to wait too long. We were served pretty quickly even if the restaurant was really full (and quite loud, well it was a Saturday evening... ). But the selection of bowls is wide and I liked the concept of "tapas" so you can try different dishes. You can also have big bowls.

There was a huge variety of delicious sounding vegan food, almost everything I had was tasty, but I didn’t like one dish - but I think that’s more because of my individual preferences. The staff was very friendly. I would like to come back and taste the other dishes.

I went there with two friends and it was really nice! The food was delicious! Most of the staff were very friendly, the one who brought our food made sure we knew what dishes we had in front of us, which I thought was nice of him. But our main waitress didn’t seem to remember we were there.

During our visit to Berlin two years ago we had a fantastic evening here. The food was great, we ordered three rounds and left completely stuffed. Since we are now back in Berlin we were really looking forward to eating here again, but it turned out to be a huge dissapointment. Most dishes seemed to be prepared way in advance, so they were chewy, cold and just not fresh. We ordered seven dishes, tasted them all, but didn't like any of them. What a difference with two years ago! I wanted to give one star only, but since this is an all vegan restaurant, happy cow won't let me give less than two.
