Serves meat, vegan options available. Cafe inside of LL Bean store. Offers sandwiches, wraps, salads, bagels, and tasting boards, each with one vegan option (labeled). Reported closed July 2023.
When I first tried to find this cafe, my directions took me to to wrong place. If your phone also does that I’ll try to explain the directions the best I can. Start at the entrance to LL Bean where the little pond is on the main street. Next walk to the left side where the big LL bean boot car is. Next pass that car to the side until you see a giant LL Bean boot and there should be a 1912 cafe sign right behind that. I’ll post some pictures of the front for extra help. Also, the food has great flavors and good portions. I’ve gotten the Allagash wrap and the hummus plate.
They only have three to four vegan options, but they are very clearly labelled! One salad, two wraps, and one of the soups were vegan. I had the allagash wrap, which was very good and a pretty good size for the price. Obviously it's a store cafe, so the atmosphere doesn't amount to much.
