Serves meat, vegan options available. Fine dining restaurant at the Rosewood Hotel with outside veranda. Menu offers marked vegetarian options that can be made vegan by request. Open Mon-Sun 7:00am-11:00pm.
I suppose you shouldn’t be surprised to overpay at a hotel restaurant like this one (at the Rosewood). We’re staying at the residences at the Rosewood and don’t mind paying a good amount for an excellent meal. But this one wasn’t all that special (at the 1826 Tequila Bar). I did really appreciate that they went off menu to make us vegan sushi (just cucumber, avocado, and carrot—so nothing too inventive). We also tried the ramen and edamame. All good. Because we rarely get good vegan desserts while traveling internationally (I want to print “fruit is a snack not dessert” on a tshirt), we were excited to try the mango sticky rice. Sadly, I have to give the dessert 1 star. The rice wasn’t sweet, wasn’t sticky, and was kind of crusty. The fresh mango slices on the side were sweet and delicious, but that’s not a dessert. Overall, though, I give our experience 3 stars.
Vegetarian options are plentiful and marked on the menu! Vegan is a little harder, but there are some options like ramen and the staff are knowledgeable and truly exceptional!! The tequila bar across the hallway has an Asian menu with a few more vegan options, would recommend! The rooftop (called Luna) has some of the best views in town, again great for vegetarians, vegans will have to order off menu up there.
