So Many Vegan Options - Edit
We had the vegan garlic chicken pizza and the bbq wings. The pizza was piled up with lots of toppings and so delicious! The wings were basically nuggets and didn’t taste like traditional bbq flavor but they were still good. Staff were friendly. I’ll definitely be back to try more.

Big Vegan Menu - Edit
Almost everything on the menu can be made vegan. I especially love the vegan garlic chicken, vegan Hawaiian and vegan Indian style pizzas. You can also get a side of vegan ranch! They also sell some vegan ice cream and wings.

Great Pizza! - Edit
I had the gluten-free vegan cheese, spinach pizza which was super delicious and very rich so I didn’t eat the whole pizza. We had a party of 10 or so and the service was great.

Amazing tofu Tikka masala pizza - Edit
I really loved enjoyed the pizza. The wings were morning star but the tandoori seasoning on it gave it a different spin which I really liked! Hoped to go again

Amazing food, too expensive - Edit
I love the food here and the staff are SO NICE. But I very rarely eat here because it is SO expensive. Two large pizzas for $75? It's really just too much. Absolutely delicious food but not affordable.

Non-Vegan Pizza Served - Edit
We ordered vegan pizza but received non-vegan pizza. When we pointed out their mistake, they made us pay for the additional vegan pizzas they had to make. We will never return as our funds will not go to support the meat & dairy industry or a restaurant serving non-vegan food to vegans.

Do you want to pay ridiculous prices for microwaved Morningstar frozen nuggets? Check out Bossman's!
Read moreYou might think this is speculation on my part, but no - they openly admitted that's what they do for their "wings" when I asked for their ingredients in order to avoid my partner's jackfruit allergy.

Expanding vegan inclusivity - Edit
I’ve been coming to Bossman’s Pizza for over three years and I am always excited to watch the menu grow and overhear vegan orders when I’m at the register.
Read moreBossman’s has avidly incorporated new slots in the menu (even though I would argue there are a few over-priced items… wings… you’re better off with some at home morningstar nuggets). Having seen the menu grow from 5 options to a three-page menu has been exciting.
This is an excellent pizza spot for that mix of friends or colleagues whose have varied lifestyle needs.
My go-to’s are the vegan garlic sticks (stretchy and oh-so yummy), vegan vegetarian, and vegan chicken tandoori. When they say “spicy” they mean it. Some folks enjoy it, some don’t. Make sure you confirm your heat level on any Indian Style Pizza.
Not all menu items are listed on the app/online. I would prefer to call, though I was made aware that you can also type it in the notes section of your order and they could ring you upfront. I suggest being clear with any instructions, sometimes software infrastructure isn’t the most intuitive for patrons/employees.
Pros: Growing list of options, In-house menu is larger, Accessible parking
Cons: Expensive

Ripoff. Wings are just Morningstar. - Edit
I'm not sure why they charge a premium $13 for the vegan wings when compared to $10 for the omni wings, given that they literally took a $4 pack of morningstar and served it. Where is the vegan tax even going? Certainly not to labor. I bought two like an idiot and wish I just donated the money instead.

Five Star Vegan Pizza - Edit
Bossman has become a go to on visits to SJC. The owners are great (I usually deal with Preeti, it's a H W combo) and are passionate about vegan food and pizza
Read moreThey have every plant protein available except pepperoni (and maybe one day that will change). I usually order the BBQ or Garlic Chicken pizzas with easy cheese (dairy, non-dairy, saturated fat is still saturated fat). They're really generous with the toppings, so much so the toppings keep falling off the pizza.
Think they also have some vegan appetizer options as well, and of course, the place being Indian-owned, there are a few vegetarian/vegan Indian items on the menu as well. Which is great and maybe one day I'll try it out but I'm here for the pizza.

Good Vegan Pizza Option 🍕 - Edit
*I think we prefer the Tika Masala Pizza 🍕
Read more$17.00: 10" Vegan Garlic Chicken Pizza: This was pretty good. We really liked the amount of toppings and found the 10" to be more than enough for two people. We really liked the garlic herb oil on the crust however it still lacked a bit of flavor. We think the flavor of the pizza would be improved by adding more garlic and herbs and making the garlic herb oil the base. This would really add a lot of flavor. Overall it's a decent vegan pizza with vegan cheese and vegan chicken already included and we look forward to trying their other options.
We have been to some really great Vegan Pizza restaurants in Toronto and this doesn't compare but it's a good option for the area with a fairly extensive vegan menu. They clearly label and advertise their vegan options which is nice.
$1.75: Vegan Ranch Dip: This was really good and we'd order again. It helped add a bit of flavor.
The restaurant is a good size. There is a lot of seating. We ordered take out, but it appeared customers order and pay then sit.
We noticed they also have Vegan Ben & Jerry's options which was nice.
They also have some vegan deodorants and other options available at the counter.
They seem to really understand what is vegan which is nice.
Pros: Lots of vegan options

Best Vegan Pizza I’ve Ever Had - Edit
I ordered the Vegan Gourmet Garlic Chicken Pizza, and it was absolutely amazing. Without a doubt the best vegan pizza I’ve ever had. They have lots of vegan and vegetarian options and ordering online makes it very easy to get what you want, and you save a few bucks for doing so. Definitely will be coming back!

Okay - Edit
There’s not a lot of vegan pizza in San Jose. Usually I drive to SF or Oakland or just buy frozen, but this place does a good job. However, it’s just okay in my opinion. I give it a solid four stars for existing in San Jose and having a chill pizza place atmosphere.

Best pizza in San Jose! - Edit
Bossman’s Pizza has excellent service and the food is great. We order bbq and tandoori wings and 3 8 inch pizzas. I loved the Indian flavored pizzas. For the Indian flavored pizzas you can choose the spice level so no matter what your heat tolerance is you can enjoy. The traditional types of pizza are also great. Happy cow only lets vegan restaurants to get five stars otherwise I’d give 5 stars.

Lots of vegan options but double check your order - Edit
Some of the best pizza I've had. We ordered the Vegan hot wings and the Vegan Garlic Chicken Pizza and the Garlic Combo Pizza (made vegan). The dough was great and the vegan cheese they use is really good. They also have vegan ranch, which was a big plus. One of the owners was there and she was very friendly and helpful. They also have a good instagram so you can see different options.

I went again and they messed up my order. I didn’t notice at first because the pizza I ordered is exactly the same as another item but it is just veganized. So it wasn’t until I took a bite and thought the sausage tasted very realistic that I realized it was not vegan. The woman who took my order argued for such a long time that it was my fault and I ordered the wrong thing bud I’m sure I said vegan. She finally agreed to replace one of the pizzas. I had to drive all the way back and get the pizza replaced, and then they charged me $2 because the vegan version costs a little extra. Very disappointed with the customer service, but I guess that’s what you get when you order vegan food at nonvegan restaurants. It’s still a good pizza and the only place in the area that I know of where you can order a full size vegan pizza. If you are very careful with checking your order, it’s a solid option.
Pros: Full size vegan pizzas , Vegan ranch, Faux meats
Cons: A little pricey, Poor customer service, Not careful about vegan orders
