Pretty good Hot Pot restaurant with vegan options - Edit
Hot Pot places are quite popular in Asia, and this is a nice one. They have genuinely vegan soup (not just hot water as many other places) and do put together a nice vegan selection that is heavy on mushrooms. You receive a bowl of veggies (cabbage, salad, pumpkin, taro root, mushrooms, tofu, soy skin and some more and a bowl which gets filled with soup, ) heated by an induction cooker . You add condiments (spring onions, garlic, radish, soy sauce, chili) and put your veggies into the bowl to boil it, eating the vegetables with your chopsticks and drinking the soup.
Read moreThe first time I came here I thought I would have to add a lot of options, so I selected nearly every vegan option on the menu, and then I really had trouble to finish everything. So for the beginning, just go with the basic dish and add more items if you are still hungry.
Great fun, and if you are out with omnivores, no problem, as everybody can get his small soup bowl (or you can share a big one if everybody is vegan :-) )
A word regarding dining here - you can not reserve by phone, rather you have to come here and take a number, then you will have to wait for some time. There is always a number of people sitting outside, waiting for their turns, enjoying the free Wifi. So my suggestion would be to come here, take a number, then go shopping at Carrefour, and when you are done, your table will be ready hopefully.
