Good food, but not so nice place - Edit
I ordered the Asian rice noodles with tofu, which were really good. The kebab is also good. However, I didn't really like the place. The interior (you can't sit there at the moment, but that's where the buffet is) seemed a bit like a packed storage room. The exterior is a roofed terrace, which was better. But apparently smoking is allowed there - and it didn't have much of an atmosphere.

The fact that it's a buffet (pay by weight) means it's really easy to try a bit of everything. A lot of tasty, mostly European style dishes.

Das Restaurant war super dreckig. Das Buffet bereits völlig leer gefegt und die paar Reste sahen nicht wirklich appetitlich aus; also haben wir uns für das fast food a la cart entschieden und es war mit abstand das schlimmste, was ich jeh gegessen habe. 😒Matchig, kalt, merkwürdig gewürzt, lieblos auf den Keller geklatscht. Everything is vegan, you don't have to worry about anything when indulging in the buffet. Nice staff, the prices are super affordable (paid 8,50€ for a huge plate, couldn't move for 30 minutes afterwards). Go there!

We went there at 19:00 (they were closing at 21:00) and there still was a great variety of foods, but it wasn't that fresh anymore, which I can understand, but still... You can choose from a big buffet and pay by weight and the prices are very good! I paid 15€ for two big plates and we were so full afterwards! The food was yum and the options were great! I can really recommend the potato burek!

We spent a weekend in Lublana, so we went to Loving Hut couple times, because other places were closed. It is a self-service bar offering food by weight. The selection is huge and the food – good. But the best are the prices: it’s really cheap in here. The weakest point is the interior design but one comes hear to eat, not to enjoy the atmosphere. Nice people. I recommend this place for a huge meal while sightseeing, it’s close to Metelkova Mesto.

Visited in 2016. This gem is super close to the train station and the rest of the city. The buffet-style aspect is great because I like to try everything and I especially liked the incorporation of Slovenian food. I hope it’s still just as good as I remember- can’t wait to revisit.

This full Vegan Hut is amazing. Items on buffet serves different mains every day. You fill your plate and pay per weight. Don't miss the Seitan Steaks. Very affordable. Dont miss the items on the menu. The Wraps are amazing! Leave some room for the Tiramisu! All the deserts are amazing!

The food made me feel like home. I took a plate full of everything you can found in the buffet : goulasch, gnocchis, beans, cabbage stuffed with rice, eggplant pizza, etc. It was delicious and I only paid something like 6€. I did not really like the place but it doesn’t matter.

I tried 4 things (spinach, bora nije, rice, soy chunks) and it looks like the person cooking it either doesn't like to cook or doesn't care. It can all use extra seasoning, different seasoning, not overblending or perhaps just made with more fresh ingredients. This was my first time at a Loving Hut. It's located a little out of the city centre, near the station. There was an interesting selection of food. Most of it was nice. Not all of it was hot, but very cheap! An enjoyable meal.

Really good idea having it as self catering and the cost depends on the weight of your food. There are also fast food options. Even though everything looked great we went for a cheese burger and a gyros. Both were absolutely incredible! They were filling and the sauces were so tasty! We also couldn't believe how cheap these items were ! I strongly recommend both options ! 😍

I've been to many Loving Huts and I have to say that this one was the least amazing from all.
Read moreThe food off the menu is delicious (especially the vegbab with seitan!) but the buffet food just doesn't taste that good. Sure, it is cheap, especially for a student, but it could use some more spices or longer cooking times (I'm looking at you, person who undercooks rice almost every time!). But the buffet used to be really good a few year ago!
The place has got potential and it could thrive, but for the past few years it's been living off the people who just need a quick bite before catching a train.
Hopefully the restaurant will get back on track like it was a few years ago. Until then I'll just stop by to get myself a vegbab.
