I wasn't satisfied - Edit
A friend recommended this place, because he saw it in a video. I love Asian food, and I am not saying nothing was good for me I ate there, but I expected way more, especially for the amount of money we left there. + we had been waiting for a waiter, finally one of us had to stand up to tell them we were ready to order.

I could turn fully Vegan for this food. - Edit
I am not a Vegan, not even close, but I am trying sometimes. The food here is not an attempt at imitation, but foods designed without meat, and it is Glorious!

Delicious - Edit
5 stars isn’t possible but I would if I could. We ordered a ‘meze’ of all the vegan options available. The food was delicious. Sizes were perfect to allow for dessert. Staff were lovely, space was great. We sat out the back. We have eaten some great food this week and this spot is up there with the best.

Not too many vegan options during lunchtime, bit pricey - Edit
I visited 101 Bistro on an early afternoon based on the promising reviews, but the lunch menu served between 12:00 and 15:00 offers much less vegan options - only 5 items (1 gaifan /main dish, 3 small plates, 1 dessert) - compared to the bistro menu previous reviews referred to.
Read moreI wanted something smaller, so I settled for the agedashi tofu (fried tofu in sweet soy sauce, with grated raddish and ginger, 2490 HUF as of August 2023). The naming is realistic: the plate was indeed small, but it tasted good and had a nice texture. The 4 chunks of silken tofu were wrapped in rice paper, and the sweet soy sauce and the stingy ginger and raddish offered a nice combination of flavours. The home-brewn kombucha (1290 HUF IIRC, served in what looked like a 2dl glass), however, did not taste good sadly: it felt overbrewn (was way too acidic).
Pros: friendly staff, option to pay with SZÉP card
Cons: bit pricey, less vegan options during lunchtime

Spectacular! - Edit
Really nice place with some quite outstanding bites! I guess the portions are well-described as tapas and we ordered almost all the vegan options (50% of the menu). All of them were special and unique. Can only recommend to go again!
