Serves meat, vegan options available. This pizza restaurant has vegan cheese for pizza and a vegan wrap. Vegan pizza is listed under “toppings” and not listed as a separate pizza option. Confirmed closed Oct 2018.
This place has so much potential but the employees were confusing and seemed BORED the actual place was cool. We asked if they were open and they said opening but didn’t tell us to come in or not one of them didn’t respond after a while. The food was decent I would love to have some music maybe though.
Interesting. Most employees didn’t know they had a vegan option. None of them heard of Happy Cow. But all were very accommodating and made us a terrific pizza with caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, mushrooms and spinach. Their marinara tomato base was wonderful. All and all the pizza was pretty darn good. The crust could have been slightly crisper but with all our veggies I understand the moisture.
Pros: Flexible will create a pie for reasonable price, Options are endless once you exclude cheese, Delicious and size is amazing
Cons: Only vegan cheese is Daya cheese that taste bad, No Heart to Heart cheese as much better option, Pesto sauce is made with cheese and too much oil
Pizza is good, liked the crust a lot. However, it's just daiya cheese and isn't anything unique or spectacular. What really caught my attention was vegan gelato! Unfortunately I didn't have the money at that time to try it, but it looked very good and even if I don't get pizza again, I will definitely return to try some! Frankly, Whole Foods is two blocks away and their vegan pizza is cheaper so I think I'll keep going there.
