2 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoon cane sugar
2 tablespoon flax meal + 6 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup vegan butter
1 1/2 cups warm unsweeted soymilk
Optional vegan chocolate chips
In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder.
Add wet mixture to dry mixture, stir well to combine.
Set waffle iron to desired temperature and follow its instructions to cook off the batter.
Optional: sprinkle chocolate chips into the batter once on the waffle iron.
