- I'm just an adult who's full of anxiety for no good reason and am trying to get by so I can go to school to become a vet assistant. I am currently on a weight loss journey, which will hopefully get me out of my three year long funk. I adore cats the most, make clay dragon eyes as a hobby, and just try to enjoy time with my family. I also enjoy video games, horror movies, and traveling (if I could).

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I've know about some of the horrible happenings to animals since I was a teen, but it never stuck. Finally as an adult, I don't know, it just clicked. I began researching more and then cut red meat and pork. A year later I finally cut out all meat and now it just makes me sick to think about. I'm currently transitioning to the vegan lifestyle and am still learning.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I haven't any vegetarian/vegan friends.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I'd like to travel to Ireland or Australia, or those vegan restaurants I keep hearing about.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Lentil tacos, lentil bbq sandwiches, homemade pizza, etc... Oh! and I've recently fallen in love with Canary melons, or golden honeydews.
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
La Belle et la Bette, the Underworld series, Babadook, Ever After, Hot Fuzz, Warm Bodies, the list goes on.
