More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I went vegetarian september on 2009, it was something that id been thinking about for a few years but never had enough motivation to actually change since everyone I knew ate meat. I started volunteering at a wildlife rehab nursery and a few of the people I worked with there were vegetarian or vegan, I got a documentary and I watched it and cried the whole time that's when I decided it was time to change.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I don't know very many vegetarians and I really want to have people I can talk to, relate to and get advice from, can't talk to my friends or family about this because they all eat meat
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

Congrats on going vegetarian! That is awesome!
I noticed u like the book Thanking the Monkey. So do I. You probably already know but just in case, Karen Dawn has a wonderful email group alerting subscribers to animal rights and welfare issues in the media. And her commentary is really insightful. It's www.dawnwatch.com.
How is your veg journey going?
