289 Wuluo Road, Wuchang District (near Baotong Temple), Wuhan, China

Buddhist vegetarian restaurant

Chinese buddhist vegetarian restaurant.
The resturant is located just at the exit of the buddhist temple on Wuluo Lu.
The food is chinese and vegetarian. You can eat during the whole day and take out some snacks.

The dumplings are very nice.

But the staff is not very welcoming especially if you're not in the "busy" hours

Very nice indian vegetarian restaurant

Delicious indian vegetarian food.
The restaurant has a nice view on the street. The staff is very friendly and helps you to choose a dish if you're not used to indian cuisine.
The food in itself is delicious and traditionnal.

Highly recommended.

ChangchunGuan Taoism Temple, Wuhan, China

I've been to this restaurant two times already. The atmosphere is quite nice because the restaurant is actually located inside the taoist temple in Wuhan.

I've ordered the Wuxiang Niu rou, a dish with mushroom and the veggan dumplings.

For three people the price should be aroung 80 yuan.

If you are a vegetarian and you live or travel in Wuhan, I higly recommend you to have a look especially because it's almost impossible to find any other places to eat vegetarian food in the city.

Cosy & crowded :)

Most of the time crowded but it's a good thing to wait!
Food is delicious and the athmosphere is very cosy. When you've found your sit, you don't want to leave anymore.

The good thing is that they don't waste food. If you're the lucky last customer, you'll have the privilege to have the last scone.
Isn't that amazing?

Good portions and friendly staff

Asian style vegetarian restaurant. The staff is very friendly and helps you to fine the perfect dish. It's a bit pricy though but the portions are generous.

Recommended :)

Health Gate --> Health Essential

Great healthy store. It's a bit difficult to find though. You have to take an elevator to access the shop.

Inside you'll find a lot of products. Snacks, baking products, all suitable for vegetarian and vegan.

Cute vegetarian shop

Very nice convenient store. You'll find mainly western imported healthy food. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans :)

Don't go

The shop in itself is ok. But the staff is so rude.
It is better so save money for the Biocoop that really works for and with the farmers instead of spending money in a shop where people don't care about anything except taking your money.
They litteraly told me that their shop is just a shop, they sell organic products, as they could sell anything else.

Tiny Indian vegetarian corner in Tsim Sha Tsui

Just a little indian vegetarian corner located in the indian building "Chunking Mansion".
The food is extremely cheap but so tasty.

There is a tiny space to eat but I think that it's better to take out.

Recommended if you're in the area and you need a little snack :)

traditionnal indian vegetarian "cantine"

That was the first vegetarian restaurant that I've been to in Hong Kong. It's perfect is you love indian food and have a limited budget.
The food is very traditionnal and fresh.
The place is definitly not fancy. I would say that it's more a cantine than a restaurant but the staff is very welcoming. That was a pure pleasure to talk with them for a while.

I recommend it if you're in the area.

An amazing experience

This was the first vegan restaurant I've been in my life and I loved it so much.

You first need to find the place in Gilman's Bazaar (if you can't find it just ask to someone in the street).

Then you turn on the right and you go into the building. On the third floor just open the door and you're there.

A zen music is welcoming you. You just need to give your name if you have a reservation (better because it's cheaper than without reservation) or to take a sit.

They only cook one dish per day so you don't have to choose anything. You can have for 46$ a soup, a dish and a beverage.
When I've been there everything was so tasty and healthy. The food is fresh and organic.

The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is great.

I highly recommend this place is you're in the area/ vegan/ or want to experience something different :)
