I've been to Bombay Spice at least 5 times and the service is regularly okay. The food is also okay. I like the cumin potatoes but this dish along with marinated tofu should be only $5. I like that they have a gf menu, but they really could have a wider selection for vegans.

GREEN should rename itself GARLIC
19 Jul 2010
I am so fed up with Green. At first, I loved eating there because they offer an all vegan, American food menu. Now, I can't stand to eat there because it is over-priced, everything, and I mean everything, contains way too much garlic. I only really ever liked 3 things on their whole menu. I try to go when they have a special, but the specials are always $10 or more, and they frequently sell out. The soft serve is good but they mix the ice cream in the same bowl and don't wash it in-between so you might get coconut in your icecream from the previous person (this happened to me twice). Also, I don't get the grunge atmosphere. Vegan restaurants no longer need to only cater to the grunge crowd. Come on! Please hold the garlic.

Loving Hut Food

I've eaten at Loving Hut several times, and the food is always excellent. Try the cha cha dish: shrimp fried with peppers. I love the steak sandwich and the fried wonton appetizer.

Best Vegan Pho Soup in Arizona
18 Jan 2012
I discovered this restaurant by chance before it was on Happy Cow, and I ordered the pho soup with a vegetable broth, veggies, and tofu. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and will make any dish on their menu vegan by request. I recommend ordering the pho soup which has a subtle but very tasty Chinese-five-spice vegetable broth, broccoli, carrots, onions, cauliflower, and vermicelli noodles. The flavors are very fresh, and they never over-cook their vegetables. They bring a nice plate of Vietnamese mint, fresh jalapeno, and bean sprouts to the table for you to add to your soup. Every time I eat this soup, I feel amazing afterwards. Another one of my favorites is the tofu tomatoes dish. This dish, like the pho soup, is really fresh tasting. It has a tangy (lemony) base and is served with tofu and rice. Who would have thought that something as simple as tomatoes and tofu could taste so delectable! Ask for the vegetarian menu to see other dishes. Meat eaters have a very nice selection. The pho soup may be gluten free because I believe the vermicelli noodles are rice but do not take my word for it. You can also order young thai coconuts to drink. Everything on the menu is less than $10. Nice atmosphere, but the giant tv is a bit distracting and the chairs are uncomfortable.

Best Pizza EVER
19 Jul 2010
My boyfriend and I just ate here and we built our own vegan pizza with daiya cheese, their amazing sausage flavored crumbles, cremini mushrooms, and anaheim peppers. Let me just say that as I took my first bite, it was like I'd died and gone to heaven. The flavor of the sauce was so robust and delicious! These people know how to season their food. I also ordered a salad with pears and candied walnuts which was just OK...next time, I will only order the pizza because the bill came to $30. We ordered an X-large, which is 8 very large slices. I got to take two pieces home, which I'm having for lunch today. I highly recommend their food!!!! I'd give them 5 cows, but it will only allow 4 because it is not a 100% vegetarian restaurant.
