Very busy, reasonable menu. My aubergine parmigiana was rather heavy on the tomatoes but not bad. Other half had a cheese on granary with lots of seeds etc. and some salad. He enjoyed it. Together with a couple of soft drinks bill came to around £18. The cheese and onion pie looked very good and everyone seemed happy. If we are in SKipton again we will come back.

Just had a starter today - filo parcel with wensleydale cheese and blueberries and a little salad/garnish. It was delicious and stylishly presented plus attentive service. I will be back for a 3 course meal with my husband!!

Worth a visit
Enjoyed sweet jacket potato with roased vegetables and goats cheese on one occasion and a toasted brown rye bread wtih rocket, yellow pepper and goats cheese on another. Would like to try more of the menu on more occasions and have the Green & Blacks hot chocolate (with ginger and orange) in my sights!! Not posh but enjoyable.

It's still there!
Didn't have time to eat anything here yesterday but just want to report that it is still there and menu looks great - they have a website.

Courgette cake wonderful texture but needed more flavour. All the cakes look amazing and next time will try the taster platter of 5 cakes!! Like an old fashioned tea room and enjoyable for that.

Another one we'll go back to!
We went to the Quarry Shop Cafe in the town - not at the CAT (although we have been there before and enjoyed it too!). Service a little slow but with a smile. Nice ambience. Reasonable choice. I had a slice of pizza AND a potato and onion patty (can't believe that!) plus some salad and my other half had a piece of beetroot (pieces far too large!) and goats cheese quiche and salad which he enjoyed. Can't remember the total price but including a good hot chocolate and a latte I think it was around £20. I really didn't need the pizza but it was nice!

We'll Be Back!
We had lunch elsewhere but had a fabulous afternoon tea here. My scone was just as it should be - good size, fresh, great consistency and taste and together with the jam and cream I was more than happy. My other half had a fabulous piece of carrot & ginger cake. Together with a latte and an earl grey tea came to £8.40. Sue (?) is an amazing baker - all the other cakes looked amazing. I'm sure the savouries would also be excellent and look forward to returning. A great place.
