Good wholesome food
Quiet restaurant with store, although we did not look at store. They had a different range of vegan choices (not just the staple choices). Good wholesome food. We got by with the language barrier, the woman did not know much English. No coffee.

Great fresh food
We ate here a couple of times. Food was very good and the shakes / juices were excellent. Try the pineapple+banana+peanut butter shake, it's awesome!

good but not the best
The food was bland. But otherwise good and fresh. The desserts felt like they had been sitting around for a while.
Cobblestone Mall (Northland), Kerikeri
This place had great fresh falafel. We ordered the Pita falafel which is the smallest (and cheapest) option on the menu. It was small, we had to order a 2nd serving... which was then more than enough. To make it vegan we had to have the yogurt remove.
The place was in a lovely setting, it was in a small-ish courtyard along with other restaurants. The courtyard is covered in grape vines which closes the otherwise open roof.

Nice quiet place
Quiet restaurant. Good food with range of vegan options. Waiter did not speak English, but we got by fine.
Chenghuang Temple, 23 Bailin Road, Shanghai, China
Not our best meal
There are two parts, ground floor for the "locals" and the top floor for the tourists. It appears the ground floor prices are significantly cheaper than the top floor. But the ground floor the menu was in Chinese only. The food did not look that appetising, and it was fatty and gluggy.

Good soup, bit pricey
Not your typical Chinese restaurant. Small quiet place. The menu is a set menu although you don't have to have a whole meal, you can choose just a couple of dishes. The soup was excellent, the rest of our meal was okay, maybe a little overpriced.
Plaza de las Descalzas 3, Granada, Spain
Laid back place
Laid back cafe/bar mainly with younger alternative
crowd, very busy... when we were there at least. Because is a bar, has a good range of beers and wines, although don't which are vegan. We all ordered the vegan hamburger because it was the most interesting sounding. It was an average vegan hamburger with fries, very big and very filling. Cheap too! Although the vegan range was limited, there is plenty of choice for vegetarians. Spoke English.
506 Guoding Rd, Yangpu District, Shanghai, China
This place is far out of town but well worth it. The dishes were cheap and great. Typical Chinese food with a couple of western options. Staff are very friendly and speak English well. There are no desserts.
55, Xingshan West St, Xian, China
We visited this place 3 times while in Xi'an and we were there only 3 days. This is the best Chinese food I have ever had. Food was excellent and simple. Fresh vegetables are used for cooking. There is a small selection of items compared to a typical Chinese restaurant, but still a good selection. The staff do not speak English but are very friendly. The meal is very cheap too.

291 Queen Street, Auckland
Typical Indian takeaway. Not all items are vegan.
2, Derb Zawak, Riad Zitoun Kedim, Medina, Marrakech, Morocco
Considering the lack of vegetarian restaurants in Morocco, this was our little Oasis. The food is very good, good serving sizes to. The staff are friendly and speak good English. Lots of vegan options.
You can tell when someone has ordered because the kitchen starts to billow smoke, although our food was not burnt.
There is another Eath Cafe with vegetarian options in the medina also, but has no vegan options.

Good cheap organic vegan meal
great staple vegan organic food, and cheap considering it's organic. Pick and mix from a selection of dishes, you chose, they will serve for you. Some of the selections looked a little old, but not so sure about that. Great to have an all vegan selection, including various deserts. Also have a selection of vegan and organic wines to take away. Spoke English first time we went in, but not second time. Make coffees.

Nice Atmosphere, good food
We have been here twice. The first time they bungled almost every aspect of our order. Although the staff are friendly. There is a small play area for kids. There are some vegan options (had to ask) and the food is good, but not excellent.
53 Dong'anmen St, Dongcheng, Beijing, China
Good food in a nice restaurant
The food is Chinese with a few mock meats. Menu is with photos and English. English is spoken too. Food was very good and the portions well sized.

Good food with lots of mock meats
This fancy looking place was hard to find. They have an English menu with interesting translations. The food was good, typically Chinese. Lots of mock meats. The staff speak limited English.

Good food in a nice restaurant
We had our evening meal here. The staff were friendly and they spoke enough English to get by. We had a small meal but it was very good. It was a bit pricey.

Very cheap food in a very beautiful building
The food here is pretty average, at least the lunch I tried, which was a set meal. The portion size was good with a few different dishes. Staff were friendly and helpful. They informed me they don't use ghee, so a lot of their food is vegan too.
If it was not for the building it is located in (the old entrance to the Mercury Theater) I would give in only a three cow rating.
