grab and go vegan wrap
It's an airport bar. What more can I say? Except that, when I was there in August 2011, this one was selling a wrap that was actually vegan. Amazing! Grab a couple for your flight, or for while you are waiting.

great veg deal
Looks like a hole in the wall. It's bigger inside. Friendly staff. Hearty, tasty food. Busy atmosphere - but cosy enough. Unbelievably inexpensive. Three of us (adults) got stuffed for $23.

OK if it's your only option
It takes a lot for a vegetarian restaurant to disappoint me. This is one I won't be going back to unless I have no other option.
It's a very small place, but we waited 15 minutes just to get menus. Music is too loud for conversation. The "wings" were dry, almost burned, and overprices. Water is served in soft plastic glasses. (A veg place should know better). Limited holiday hours.
In the past, I've enjoyed great veggie breakfast here. Gotta say though I was surprised to see hot poached eggs served in plastic dish - and the plastic was cracked, no less!
On a previous visit, server placed a whack of candy canes in front of our kid - not exactly what I look forward to at a healthy restaurant.

We came for the South Indian buffet. We were among the only customers in the place. But, staff was super courteous, food was good, overall a great meal. Not fancy, but we liked it.

I thought the healthy smoothie would taste awful -- but it was good.
The raw chocolate is to die for!

best in class
Simply amazing - some raw, some cooked - all vegan. Not cheap. But, very very good. Deserts are out of this world: You won't believe they're vegan! Bright atmosphere.

Always a favourite. Returned to Padmanadi for another great experience. Great food, staff, atmosphere. I want to try everything!
We came here straight from the airport and had a great dining experience. Friendly staff. Great vegan food. Amazing selection. Almost makes me wish I lived in Edmonton!

my TO fav
My new favorite in TO (after sad demise of the Bo Da Duyen and Gujurat Durbar). Amazingly helpful staff. Great food. Super value. It's not all vegan, but they know what vegan is and are quick to help with selection.
