Volunteer run veggie cafe
Great for a cheap ethical lunch served by friendly staff. The feel of this place changes from month to month, ranges from vibrant to unloved, I think depending on the staff involved. Full of interesting reading material, even if a bit out of date.

Very modern veggie/vegan/raw food. Had 'meatballs' with courgette 'pasta'. Lovely fresh flavours. Vegan cake to finish. Great choice of drinks. They do themed evening openings too.

Went here a couple of days ago it's a lovely place with lots of choice. I had tofu sandwich with Russian caravan tea and my partner had falafel with mint tea, we shared flapjack for desert. The food was high quality, my bread was home made, brimming with sunflower seeds and a gorgeous malty taste. The flapjack was the best I've ever had. The staff were knowledgeable and attentive, smartly turned out too.

Visited here last week, will certainly return. Lovely, helpful chap who runs the café which is sort of spliced with a vintage furniture and clothes shop. Generous portions and vegan options, lots of weird and wonderful drinks too. Good opening hours and looking forward to trying the Monday buffet.

I love this place and return again and again, there's always something different to try. My carnivore housemate has driven 50 minutes to this place for the last three Saturdays, just for their halloumi Panini!(weirdo)

Went here on saturday morning, a vegetarian and a vegan. We ordered coffees, the vegan traditional breakfast and a halloumi spinach and scrambled egg muffin. It was the nicest breakfast ive had out, ever. Theres a deli at the back, from which I bought a really decadent date tiffin to take home. They also sell fresh and pantryveggie groceries. The con which I've stated is hardly a con but if we had sat at the same table it would have been cramped, we were able to sit next to each other as all the other customers were sat outside. Cant wait to return.

Chips to die for
Went here on Sunday afternoon for late lunch. For a place serving meat their vegan effort is better than some veggie places I've eaten. We had thai burgers, with the best chunky chips I've ever had in my life. You wouldn't think this place was up to much from the look of the premises but give it a go, i'm sure you'd be pleasantly surprised.

Prashad is beautiful. However I still haven't forgiven Gordon Ramsey for taking Bradford's best kept secret and shoving it into the limelight. The food is out of this world, if you want cheap, greasy, average rubbish go elsewhere. Think fine dining.
Prashad is a little expensive but it's relative, nowhere else will you get this quality of food for the price.
It pleases me that they chose in Bradford when they moved.
After a recent experience regarding an unanswered complaint I can only award four cows.

This is one of my most local veggie restaurants. Set in lovely surroundings and easily accessible by any mode of transport you are guaranteed decent, fresh veggie food. The owner seems lovely, helpful and non-effusive, maybe a little to cool for some? My only ever small criticism is on my last visit the vegan option came with a hearty dollop of non-vegan coleslaw which was quickly rectified. Maybe homemade chips would make this place perfect.
