Plenty of vegan cakes and good value.
Plaça del vi 11, Girona, Spain
We walked the 15 minute walk from girona's gothic quarter to this and it was probably the wrong thing to do. you'd be well advisd to take the number 1 bus, especiall in the Spanis sun. However when we arrived we were totally blown away by this vegan restaurant. Admitedly we had spnt the prvious week around the beautiful area of Pals and Pallafrugel, however their beauty was not matched by its vegetarian fare. B12 seemed like a vegan mirage in a land populated by carnivores.
Theextensive egan menu appealed to all 5 of us (hard to do with three fussy children). Many tapas entries meant we could pick from a large selection. We were delighted to be sitting in such a great place. After a large meal, complete with desert, takeaway cake and ice creem we left B12 wishing it wasn't 80km from our base fr the holiday AND a 2.5 hour flight from home.
Go there if you can
Prinsengracht 60-62, Amsterdam, Netherlands
I last visited Amsterdam in 2005 and was delighted that after 6 years the Bolhoed was still there. It's location near the Anne Frank house is excellent for the tourists among us. Surprisingly enough very little has changed in that time. I was delighted that the vegan options were still available. I was there for lunch and had vegan croissant stuffed with veg and arame. Very tasty. My daughter had vegan tofu pate with toast and both dishes had a small salad. The fridge with vegan cakes aplenty is still there displaying all the fine options to have. Or chocolate and vanilla cake made up for the brownie not being the best. The soya hot chocolate was divine. Bolhoed has a great down to earth atmosphere. Hopefully I will be back in Amsterdam before another 6 years but I will be heading here first.

what a find
i went to bristol for a day and came to this place twice, such a good atmosphere and great food. best vegan chocolate cake i've had in a restaraunt. it's pretty small when you walk in but has a good number of seats downstaira (25 at a guess) so don't be put off if you see a small room when you walk in.
a great touch is the small library bookshelf downstairs. you are encouraged to browse and read and if ou really want to you can puchase it for a cheap price

A joyful experience
100% vegan shop
Don't be fooled by the name (or rather it is what is says on the tim) it may not be an imaginative title for a shop but the stock is full of imagination. Vegan cheese everywhere, vegan chocolate, fridge full of vegan cake, freezer of vegan ice cream. Every city should have one if these. It is amazing. Well stocked and great selection. If you are looking to stock up on anything vegan then go here. Vegans won't be disappointed.

Great addition for vegan food
I was amazed when I entered this little cafe in Camden. Just up the road form All Ages Records, Pratt Street can now be my main street to visit while in London.
There were cakes galore, vegan croissants and cookies. The problem was what to order. Spoilt for choice in the extreme. I then looked around and there was a small hot food selection too. Vege Burgers, veg hotdogs and moct meat sandwiches. The sort of place you can bring people to and they won't view you as the last hippy from the 60's.
I loved it. I wish I had more room for more food on the day

banana with that burger?
I went on a vegan tour of london and got here, my fourth stop of the day. I couldn't resit a burger with peanut butter and banana. I have been know to have a PB and banana sandwich but amn't used to having a veg burger with it. Great mix. It's not exclusively vegan but you don't really need that ch**se slice.

great food, the other reviews say it all. I just wanted to add my piece to say that this was a joy to visit. great atmosphere and lovely food. You can sit by the window and look out atthe peaceful camden lock on one side and then journey to the other side and see the bustle of camden town.

I can' believe the gem of a menu
When we arrived at the Greenhouse we really weren't sure if it was open or shut down. The outside decor is so offputting. No menu outside but the christmas like lights that were hanging on the window and turned on game some clue of life. onsidering it was summer time it did seem a bit strange to have Christmas lights. Even stranger were the halloween decorations that were dotted around when we opened the door. And even stranger again was the irish music that was playing. the sor of irish music that isn't listened to by the population living in the country but is played to death in tourist towns.
This was all a bit diconcerting and thankfully the restaurant far exceeded our first impressions. It did seem like stepping back into a tme warp and that interior design is not the owners main thing....However after one look at the menu I was willing to forgive them anything. Tons of starters, mains and deserts. Half a ton vegan as well so I was happy. Pies to kill for, the kind of food I would rarely cook at home (but all marvellous0. i left amazed and armed with plenty of deas for my kitchen at home.
Don't be deceived by the appearane just marvel at the menu. do ring in advance if you can as it has a smallish capacity and is pretty popular

a veggie oasis
excelle nt veggie restaurant. 3 soups, all vegan tons of salads and main courses, many vegan and quite literally the bst vegan ch**se cak i've tasted. Beautiful food. It's a small cosy setting in a basement. The staff were vey friendly and the food was prepared fresh. I'd be tempted to visit cambridge just to dine here.
17A Percy Street, London, England
i love going into restaurants and not having o explain my veganism. even better when i am handed a vegan menu as was the case in Sagar. I enetered as the sole patron at 6 pm but it soon filled up and waa full when my grub was ompleted.
beautiful lentil doughnuts and pancakes. i wished i han't of gone to red veg for a burger just an hour previously but i was on holiday after all.

Tea time collective, not just for tea
Nestled snugly in hulme park is this vegan collective. Full selection of veg burgers and sandwiches if you're searching out a macrobiotic diet you've taken a wrong turn. However if homemade vegan ice cream, chocolate cake and fries with your food excite you then make the trip here. 10 minute walk from deansgate train station at least you can walk off some of that food after you eat.
A converted container with hear and seats provides most if the insure seating.
Great, really great and well worth your support
I had mint chic chip milkshake , chic cake preceded by huge sandwich and fries.

My first visit to egg was vey pleasant. Up some narrow stairs I didn't kno what to expect but it was pretty big and had a good selection of vegan food. went for the three course special for 9.95. cauliflower and coconut soup was as good as i have had in a long ime. te main of bolognese with couse cous was average but still very much edible. The vegan chocolate and biscuit cake was a real treat. take away mufin was dry but a good treat nonetheless. i'll be back for sure

good, but not mind blowing
I have heard so many good things about this place. I think maybe too many as I was expecting to be completely blown away. I haven't experienced too much raw foodand am used to warmer grub for a meal. The cake was great.
