Amazing!!

Visited this restaurant on 9th Dec, forgot to book ahead but called on the day and managed to get a late table. The food was amazing, I had the eggplant rolatini followed by the port wine seitan, both were fantastic, beautiful flavours & presentation, some of the best vegan food I have ever eaten. Service and drinks menu were good and I will definately return when I am in New York again. Fantastic!!!

A veggie & vegan heaven in fish loving Barbados!

Visited Pure Food Cafe at lunchtime twice at the beginning of September, had to go back a second time! Food was fantastic. All food is vegetarian and 4 options for vegans on both visits. Dishes were cooked fresh in the cafe and you can pick from the trays at the counter and take a seat and enjoy. The servers are more than happy to let you try dishes before you buy, helpful for me as I had never eaten breadfruit before! This is definately worth a visit and so reasonably priced you'd be mad not to try it. 5 stars from me. Not sure if it is open in the evening, so please check.

SAF is FAB

Another fantastic meal at SAF. Great menu, great staff who really know their stuff, the cocktails are pretty fine too. Always look forward to eating here. Highly recommend for a enjoyable and different vegan dining experience.

A great health food shop

Visited Jenns a few times during our stay in Barbados. A really useful place to stock up with tofu, vegan sausages, rice milk and various vegan essentials such a pulses, sauces and vegan mayo. Has a sit in cafe, sells vitamins and a small book section.

Excellent vegan food. Well worth the drive!

Had an excellent meal at Vegan Cottage in June 2011. We were offered a vegan platter including roti, vegan sausage, patties and fruit, the flavours were amazing. 2 juices and 2 large meals cost 48BD which is great value (we were also given complimentary cake which was great!)Service was v friendly and welcoming and we wished we could have visited again during our stay as I did struggle to find much vegan food to eat in Barbados other than salad or pasta. Definately worth a visit and great to support a local business. Open Mon-Fri.
