54 Tran Hung Dao, Quang Ngai, Vietnam
Traditional Vietnamese Restaurant
It is a very common type of restaurant in Vietnam where you walk in, sit down and they put a plate of food in front of you. Staff spoke no English but using some phrases that we had previously had translated for us, the owner said there was no egg, milk, or meat (including fish sauce. Food consisted of some rice with vegetables and a lot of different types of fake meat. Everything but the rice was cold but for 75 cents USD a plate you can't really beat it. The fake meat seemed to be the same stuff sold at grocery stores which is all labelled vegan so we were confident the meal was vegan. Food had obviously been sitting out all day but this is pretty typical of these types of restaurants. Correct address but wrong location on happycow map.

Best meal in Barcelona. 4 courses for 9 euro. Staff speaks minimal English but very knowledgeable as to the vegan items and very willing to help. friendly. Great Spanish food. seems to have a lot of regulars. owner seemed to know everyone. fun place to eat and a must in Barcelona...3 blocks from Sagrada Familia!
Plaça del vi 11, Girona, Spain
Arguably the best vegan meal I ate in Europe. Spanish/Catalon cuisine plus other stuff. My only regret is not getting chocolate vegan croissants to go for the morning. Owner is super nice and is very willing to translate menu. Also, has a partial menu in English. Great location, walkable from Girona Cathedral. If you are a vegetarian in Girona you must go here!!!

Acai is Awesome
Didn't know what an acai was until I went here, but we went back twice. Only thing in the place not vegan is honey. So good with fresh fruits and granola. Good for dessert or a snack.
Via Celsa 4, Roma, Rome, Italy
Food was good but expensive. Some vegan options that an English speaking waiter was happy to point out. All Indian food. Probably OK if you're a local, but if traveling there are a few other places to get better vegan Italian food.

Great vegan pizza in an area devoid of vegan options. They use Daiya Cheese and I have been assured the zeppolis are also vegan, as they are the same dough as the pizza.
Great prices as well.

Good food in HMB
Food is good. A few vegan options specified on the menu. I recommend the Falafel. Delicious but small portions. We eat here every time we visit Half Moon Bay. Not may other options though.
Boulevard Carl-Vogt 99, Geneva, Switzerland
Great food...very pricey.
Lots of vegan options. The food was great but cost about 50SFr for 2. This was without wine. Pretty much the only place to get vegan food in Geneva though. I recommend it if you can afford it. Staff doesn't speak English but can point out the vegan (vegetal) items and do their best to help otherwise. Found it a little uncomfortable in jeans and a sweatshirt as the place seemed kind of fancy.

Great Indian food
Fancier Indian place. Caters to tourists but really good. Ate here for dinner. Portions a little small for the price, but taste made up for it. Tried to go back for lunch buffet, but only had one vegan dish.

so good and all vegan
Don't know why this is listed as veg. Guy said everything is vegan. Delicious wrap salad and latte. Nice seating area too.
62 Phan Dinh Phung, Da Lat, Vietnam
One of our favorites in Vietnam. Ate here 3 times in 2 days, including sandwiches from their lunch cart out in front of the sit down restaurant. Large menu, seems to be all vegan. Packaged cookies for sale were delicious and one of the few places we found baked goods in the whole country. The sandwiches were the best deal, $.75 each for take-away, but the rest of the menu was relatively inexpensive as well. Great location (just 2 blocks from the Dreams hotel with it's own amazing breakfast buffet).

Good food, too expensive
Food was good but not worth the extra money. About twice the price of other veg places in the city. Also, NOT VEGAN. Staff speaks little English so a bit difficult to determine what was actually vegan. When the served our vegetables they said they had been cooked in "oyster sauce." When we became very concerned about this they said it was imitation oyster sauce made from soy. We believed them and ate it. Great location, down the block from the War Remnants Museum.

This place has a great hot food bar with several vegan options and vegan soups. Can also make sandwiches but those didn't seem as vegan friendly. The market is well stocked with vegan essentials for you to do your own cooking too. A little pricey but worth it as there aren't many vegan options in the area.

A Hilo Must!
Food bar was sooo good. Went to the one in Kona and had to stop at this location in Hilo. More vegan options including muffins plus the store has all the vegan essentials to cook at home.

It's like eating in your Grandma's kitchen...
if your Grandma was an eccentric vegan. Home cooking. Small prix fixe menu but all delicious. Large portions. Owner is very nice and very willing to translate the menu if needed. Definitely worth the trip. 100% vegan. close to beach

Ate here only once on out recent trip to the Big Island but wish we could have gone back. Delicious food and friendly staff. They make their own vegan gelato (more like ice cream) but it is fantastic. They were out of "Kona Coffee Fudge" when we were there but I bet it is Amazing.

Good food, but expensive
Large menu, like most loving huts but this one is a little more upscale. Food was good but portions small. Great store right next door with some vegan Western foods that you may be missing (some whole foods and trader joe's brands too) including chocolate bars and cookies. But the best part was the cheese cake slices in the fridge. If you eat at loving hut, go here for dessert.
36 Luong Van Tuy Street, Ninh Binh, Vietnam
Good food, great staff
The restaurant is on the second floor of the hotel. Serves meat but many veggie options including Pho with vegetables. Staff seemed knowledgeable about the ingredients used and spoke great English so I was confident that our choices were vegan. We did not stay at the hotel but the lobby and restaurant seemed clean and they had many Western guests so may be a good option if staying in Ninh Binh.
