Good, but time for a change.
I have been eating at the Boba for years. Their Satay Skewers are great and my favorite entree is the Hula Pot with the "duck." The deserts are good but not fantastic. While I have enjoyed going to Boba, I think its time to change up the menu a bit, or even have some specials offered that aren't on the menu. I also wish they'd do something different like offer a brunch. If you've never been before, it's worth the visit. I've just found I don't go as much as I used to because its gotten a bit boring.

Get there before the Deli Closes!
This is a great little place. They carry a lot of vegan options and the Deli will make just about anything vegan for you. The staff is very helpful and the location is great. It's located on Forsyth park, so you can stop by and grab stuff for a picnic in the park.

Great vegan sandwich shop!
I walked about 4 miles round trip to get to this place and it was totally worth it. I ordered the Pedro chicken sandwich and wish I had gotten an extra for later! Service was quick and the people were really friendly. Hands down the best sandwich I have had in a long time.

After walking 40 blocks to get here I figured I could splurge on the calories a bit! I had the cajon seiten sandwich with aoli for my entree and it was amazing! I would've liked the seiten to be at least a little spicy, but it was great. For desert I had the Vegan vanilla cheesecake. It had a raspberry topping and chocolate flakes on top. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

small, but friendly
Not much English is spoken here, but that didn't stop the owner from soliciting a few words here and there from those who walked in! This place is great if you have access to a kitchen or microwave- there's veggie burger's and seitan steaks. The soy cheese has casein in it. I bought rice milk which I couldn't find anywhere else. Bring your Spanish -English dictionary if you don't speak the language!

Nice little diner
I ordered fresh spring rolls and chicken nuggets to take with me for the flight back to the mainland. Both were good, but the nuggets were a little greasy. I also tried a peice of pumpkin pie and found it to be tasty but flat. Pumpkin pie should look fluffy and this can be achieved with flax, egg replacer, or tofu. The waiter and cook were very nice and I'll deffinately stop by again on my next visit. The girl next to me was eating a quesadilla and it looked amazing. Since she ate the whole thing, I'm assuming it was!

I went through Charlotte and stopped long enough for dinner at Meskerem. I ordered the vegetarian combo and was amazed when my order came to the table less than 10 minutes after I ordered it. The food was excellent and I can't wait to go back again.

Support Your Local CoOp
This place is packed wall to wall with a rather large variety for such a small space. Their prices seemed to be about the same as the larger natural food chains in the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Worth the visit
Ambiance is great. I splurged and got an exspresso brownie with my soy latte- totally worth it. I loved visiting this all vegan cafe and wish I had a chance to sample more food. The book selection is as interesting as the clientel. The service was super fast and super friendly.

Very helpful and friendly owners- Nice Store
I showed up right at closing, but the owners were so nice- they let me run in and grab what I needed. They also gave me tips for a vegan looking to grab a bite out, which came in handy since I'm stuck on a not so vegan friendly military base for the next few months. The store has a nice variety and the prices are pretty normal for a smaller health food shop. I will definitely shop there again!

Awesome Awesome Awesome!
I go to Wilmington to see my friends, but Flaming Amy's is my first stop on the way in and usually my last stop on the way out. It is just that good! I usually order the Tree Hugger or the Thai Me Up with Tofu. The line moves quickly so don't be intimidated by the crowd- besides, it gives you the opportunity to read the surplus of options on the menu!

My favorite coffee shop in Greensboro
This cafe has a great vibe- the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the vegan diet. There's always a few types of vegan sweets (cookies, carrot cake, etc..) that taste pretty awesome. I'm a fan of the peanut butter oatmeal cookie. The baristas make designs on your latte and always offer good suggestions if you can't make up your mind. They have vegan cream cheese for your bagel too. What I really enjoy about this place is that there's a bunch of options on the menu that are vegan, the cafe is clean and is usually playing great music, and there's a bunch of seating so it never feels too crowded.

Popular with the locals for a reason- friendly staff, healthy food that fills you up, and decent prices. Everyone was ordering Bangkok noodles, so I did too. The tofu was well seasoned- a little chewy, but tasty. Overall, I thought it was great and I plan to go back next time I'm in asheville.

I ordered the Tofu Scramble with Sweet Potatos and a biscuit on the side along with a double soy latte. My check was a little over $11, but it was worth it! The only thing that wasn't fantastic was the biscuit- it tasted like it was 90% shortening. The Tofu scramble had greens, spices, and cherry tomatoes in it and the potatoes were simple and delicous! I was so satisfied that I didn't want the biscuit anyway! The service was friendly and prompt, the atmosphere was nice and it was CLEAN! They serve breakfast all day too! The coffee was much better than the regular chain coffee shops around too. Avoid the biscuit and you'll be set for a great meal.

Something for Everyone
I just went to Breakfast of Course for the first time and I'll be back. Get there by 10am Sunday if you don't want to wait in line for brunch because this place is pretty popular. I ordered the Tofu Scramble with hash browns- it was a little different than other tofu scrambles that I've had before, but it was good. If you don't care for lots of pepper though, I'd make a request to have them abstain from adding it as it came with a ton of pepper on it. I love pepper, so it worked for me. Usually a tofu scramble as turmeric to make it look yellow- this was more of a cubed tofu with veggies - very "fall looking" if that makes sense. My ovo-lacto friend ordered breakfast nachos and it looked great. She almost ate it all so I'm assuming it was delicious. The portions are huge and for a busy Sunday morning, it didn't take very long for the food to come out. I wish they had a few more vegan options (like vegan French Toast) but since this is the only place around that caters to vegans, I'm happy there's at least something.

Even Better than Before
I always loved Mellow Mushroom but am so happy they offer Daiya Vegan cheese now. Lots of veggies and protein choices to chose from- worth the visit.

I love this place!
I had just landed and didn't want anything heavy, so I ordered the Ceasar Salad. It was fantastic. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is friendly, and the service is quick. I also had the soup and found it very filling. The menu has a unique assortment of options and I can't wait to return and try more things.
