Really good basic Indian food
They ave a really good masala dosa that MUST be eaten in the shop. The bel puri and chat are great as well. Just tell them no yogurt souse. If you need a basic dish for eating try the Hakka noodles.
All things can be made to most spice levels, ey will not however do band. The majority customers are Indian
Prices are extremely reasonable

Great Indian in Sterling
Very good roasted eggplant. The chaat is great, they make it Vegan by not adding yogurt sauce. Ask for it medium if you can handle the heat. I prefer Indian hot. Their garlic naan is outstanding. Just make sure you say no ghee, butter or oil on NAAN
Their pakora is decent.
The owners are Nepali. They keep the oil to a minimum.

Walked to Columbus Ave location from lower Manhattan. We came with modest expectations. This was a good thing. If you are a person in search of SAD type food then this is great. We found the food overly salty, too large a reliance on fake cheese, butter etc. had unit gone vegan a year ago Blossom would be a GREAT even awesome transition eatery.

Good food, Afghani not Indian
The food here is great. The owners are pleasant to del with. Your veggie choices are limited, but what they have has great flavor. Definitely a place to try.

Chocolate Maven nearly Vegetarian Nirvana
I a vegan, but my wife is not. We were on or annal cross country trip when we came upon te Maven for breakfast. Despite the fact it is not heavy on vegan, what was ordered and the fact that they were willing to accommodate gave us one of the greatest experiences during our trip.
For those who complain about what tey do not have try driving across American and you will see really how much that do provide and how the were accommodating.
We loved the Sante Fe scrambler and wish we could match all of their flavors. The black beans were great even sans the cheese We highly recommend the Chocolate Maven

One of the better Indian. buffet places in the area. The flavor can be hit or miss at times, but overall a really good buffet. Just be aware that tey close from 3-5 or 5.30.

Good vegan food
Great choices if you are lie me and are vegan. The only caution is when you go try not to be there near closing, the owner or managers he gets testy and really tries to push you out.

Vedge is unbelievable
We drove up from northern Virginia to have dinner and celebrate a birthday. I am the only vegan in the group, yet EVERYONE was blown away by the quality, the favors, presentation and most of all the taste.
I enjoyed the fact that there was not a focus on faux meats. That vegetables and spicy worked so well together. I really enjoyed the shawarma of carrots.
I wish we had more of this in other places. Also wish I did not have to drive 2.5 hours yo enjoy such a great meal. But it was well worth it. We are taking friends up next month. For the day and the food.
