This is a total falafel experience in a cozy little shop. Don't forget to mash your falafel so you can squeeze on maximum mouthwatering toppings. You will be so happy you went. Outdoor tables and good people watching.

The surprise was that I was just expecting vegan pizza, but upon request, our table was given the "vegan menu" with four pages of creative Italian vegan comfort food. I had the crab cakes appetizer and an large arugula salad. I also sampled the vegan lasagna, oyster mushroom calamari, and rollatini. My dining partners were all impressed with their meals and everyone was too full to sample the death by chocolate vegan dessert. Our server was very friendly and attentive and made good suggestions regarding the menu.

I had heard so many wonderful things about Native Foods and when I finally had the opportunity to give it a try, it did not disappoint. Went for lunch and ordered the Rockin’ Moroccan Bowl with tofu. It was really difficult to choose. The food tasted fresh and healthy -- not a huge serving, but enough for a light lunch. Casual, family-friendly place.

Randy Radish for lunch
I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap and watermelon gazpacho soup for lunch. The wrap was good, but unremarkable and the soup was unusual-tasting in a good way, although halfway through the soup, a ball of sour cream (I think) started to dissolve into the soup and that's when I called it quits. Their Reuben sandwich comes highly recommended but wasn't offered on the menu that day. I would like to try again the next time Randy Radish is traveling my way.

Vegan Lunch to Go
I purposefully visited this food stall because of its vegan listing. I was running to the airport and took a chickpea salad sandwich and sweet potato fries with me -- it was a generous serving and all was delicious. The owner was there and was super-enthusiastic about the potential to expand vegan dining options in Little Rock. I will eat there again on my next visit. They have a vegan lobster roll.

Minestrone soup, kale salad, pasta that looks simple yet tastes special, mini-chocolate decadence dessert ... It was all beautifully presented and delicous! From looking at the outside of the building you have no idea what a treat is waiting on the inside. Beautiful wood floors and comfy booths with interesting architectural touches everywhere. It is swanky and relaxed at the same time. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive. Overall a delightful dining experience and I am looking forward to going back the next time I visit L.A.

I have dined at Elizabeth's Gone Raw three times and each occasion has been such a pleasure! It is the only fine dining vegan restaurant that I have found in DC. The menu is fresh and creative, the ambience is cozy and upscale, and the wait staff are knowledgeable about the food and professional (example: plates are left on the table until everyone is finished eating). It is also good for conversation because it is not too loud. The upscale price is the only thing keeping me from eating there every Friday -- it is a special occasion place for me.

I was pleased to find Fresh First open for breakfast with vegan menu choices. I ordered the Key West Tofu and enjoyed it. My favorite part of breakfast was a custom order green juice -- a great way to start the day!

Get the Reuben
I am always looking for a tasty vegan Reuben and wanted to give this vegan café a try on my visit to Sacramento. It was delish! The sandwich was very flavorful and Reubenesque and was served with a delicious salad. I didn't think I was going to be able to finish it all off, but it was so good that I managed to devour every last bite. I liked the kombucha bar and the staff will give samples so you can choose your favorite flavor. Lots of baked goods available. I will go back for another Reuben sandwich the next time I'm in town.

A pleasant suprise!
Ate lunch at this newly-opened casual restaurant. The menu is sparse but it was difficult to choose because everything looked good. Ordered the spicy kale salad. The dressing was very flavorful and the portion was big (although my lunch-mates were left wanting bigger portions of the lasagne and a side to accompany the burger). The staff was super-friendly and came around multiple times to fill water and clear plates. It was fairly crowded but there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and the food was served quickly. Nice to have a vegan option so close to the airport!

I was visiting Atlanta and stopped in to Green Sprout for lunch. The owners were very welcoming, the atmosphere was very relaxed, and there was an overwhelming selection of vegan options on the menu. My table ordered three different dishes and all were delicious. I would be a regular customer if I lived in Atlanta!

Visiting San Antonio with a posse of vegans and looking for a compassionate place to eat. We landed at Green for Sunday Brunch and LOVED it. Extensive menu with choices ranging from healthy to comfort food (big nasty burger) so there is something guaranteed to please. My Mediterranean Bowl was filled with tabouli, pecan hummus, dolmas, tzatziki, kale salad, falafel and lots of other tasty things. There were "yums" all around our table. The restaurant was packed, but service was friendly and speedy. Would definitely go for a repeat visit. Would be great to see the menu shift from veg to vegan and go cruelty-free!

Had a long-anticipated visit to GreenFare for dinner and it was such a nice experience. The menu of substantial-sounding entrees made it very difficult to choose and I ended up with the sweet potato and spinach lasagna recommended by our server with a side salad. The meal was beautiful to look at, flavorful, and so filling. I felt good knowing that it was also healthful -- all plants and no added oil. Can't wait to go back and try everything else on the menu!

Casual Backyard Fiesta
You'll notice this place when you drive by because it is on Main Street as you enter the south end of Amagansett and always bustling with activity. You'll be so happy when you decide to pull in for take-out or stay and eat at one of the picnic tables scattered around the backyard that is strung with party lights. Order at the counter from the traditional Mexican menu that has designated vegan options. The rice and beans are vegan! Many more menu items that aren't already marked as vegan can be easily veganized. The watermelon juice is super-refreshing. It's nice to have an option for delicious food in Amagansett that doesn't come with an outrageous price tag. I'll be making another stop the next time I visit.

Get the Brussels sprouts!
Clean and serene! Went for lunch and enjoyed every bite of my pan bagna sandwich. The server recommended Brussels sprouts and I will go back and order them again -- so flavorful and my favorite part of lunch. Staff is super friendly.

reliable vegan option
Mary's Marvelous has salads and a made-to-order hummus wrap that you can count on when you need to grab a quick bite to go. Soy milk for the coffee and vegan cookies are a plus.

Woodlands Food Truck
It was worth the long wait in line to get the fried chicken sandwich and garlic kale salad. It sounds unhealthy and it probably was but it was soooo good! And the sandwich was huge -- this combo made a very large lunch. The food truck provides different self-serve sauces and both the BBQ and hot sauces were delish on the sandwich. Most food trucks just offer a few selections but Woodlands had a large menu of sandwich/salad type items. For someone who tries to eat low-fat, whole foods, this meal felt like a guilty pleasure ... but I would do it again!

Vegan eats with an ocean view
Was pleasantly suprised to discover this restaurant has an entire vegan menu -- thank you Happy Cow! A large assortment of wraps and sandwiches. Nothing fancy, but the veggie burger was good and the location across from the beach is excellent for people watching from the outdoor tables. One man ran the entire show and he couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Vegan french toast served all day.
