I absolutely loved my experience at Cafe Blossom. I shared 3 different appetizers and a main course with the person I ate with, and they were each phenomenal and different in their own way. Everything tastes fresh and unique. The staff was very friendly and the inside decor is classy and fun! Definite recommendation to everyone!

Classy and fabulous!

All of the servers I came in contact with at Candle Cafe West were so kind, attentive, and friendly. The food was elegantly displayed, tasted delicious and provided a good amount of variety. The restaurant is classy, beautiful, and all vegan & organic! What else can you ask for! It's a big pricey, but a good place to splurge. Great experience there!

Chloe's SSF is by far the best alternative to dairy ice cream that I've found since becoming vegan 4 years ago. The soft serve fruit is rich in taste and has a creamy texture without any cream or artificial ingredients! The smoothies, Popsicles and sundaes are all incredible and can all be made vegan, and gluten free. They have free toppings that aren't vegan!

I had an exceptional experience at Table Verte in East Village Manhattan. The bistro is owned by Chef Didier Pawlicki, whom I had the pleasure of briefly meeting, and the executive chef is a first generation Norwegian American named Ken Larsen. The two have worked together to create a diverse menu featuring an impeccable selection of French vegetarian and vegan dishes. Chef Larsen was kind enough to present the majority of our courses to us and explain the story behind each. He said that Chef Didier will often think up an ingredient to use and ask Ken to create delicious ways to use it. Then the two will work together until they create the perfect dish using a creative combination of different healthy, natural ingredients.
I was thrilled to be able to try more than nine different unique dishes by the two chefs, including three decadent desserts. Some of the dishes I tasted included: Cassoulet Vegetalien (vegan beans stewed with roasted shallots), Choux Fleur Roti (roasted cauliflower with rosemary scented quinoa, roasted yam, sauteed greens with a fig and caper sauce), an incredible dish of brussel sprouts with strawberries, and a beet and lentil dish, among many others. Two of the three desserts included the Tarte au Chocolate vegetalienne (vegan chocolate tart, dark Callebaut chocolate avocado “ganache” with rice, almond and raisin crust), and Aloe Temptation (an exotic dessert using poached aloe vera with saffron and red wine, plated with banana and coconut milk).
With every bite, I could taste Chef Larsen’s attention to detail and his passion for healthy, unique cooking. He generously took the time to talk with us as we finished our desserts about his journey as a chef, becoming a vegetarian and ultimately becoming a vegetarian chef. Before becoming a vegetarian, he worked as a chef at steak houses! Can you believe it? What a transformation! And he’s happy to share about it with anyone. He has such evident passion for creating delicious, healthy, unparalleled food that appeals to everyone. It is an important goal for him to think up and produce food that appeals to vegans, vegetarians, omnivores and carnivores. He explained to us how he wants Table Verte to be approachable for everyone, and for the food to be enjoyable for anyone with any type of palate.
Although the restaurant is small, it is filled with passionate energy, hunger for fine dining, and excellent food.

Le Pain Quotidien had an amazing interior set-up and design. Very authentic and earthy-feeling. The desserts were delicious and I had a couple of vegan options to choose from. I got the vegan carrot cake and it was fantastic! I went with family who are all not vegans and they loved the food too. Our table had a cookbook on it by the owner, which included many vegan dishes. The staff was friendly and helpful and everyone seemed to be thoroughly enjoying their food and the atmosphere.

Miguel's Restaurant is very accommodating!
16 May 2013
My family and I frequent Miguel's Restaurant and they're always very accommodating to my vegan needs. They have many dishes with beans and vegetables including burritos and other dishes easy to make vegan. If you love spicy food, they don't have a huge variety of spicy sauces but the food in general is fresh and delicious. They have vegan cheese and fresh produce so I always feel comfortable eating their food. The restaurant can be a little cold sometimes, so bring a sweater when you eat there! Although I'm also sure the staff would be happy to adjust the temperature if you ask. Overall a delicious and clean restaurant with a fun environment and a great interior design!

Relaxed atmosphere, great food!

Peacefood is one of my favorite vegan restaurants in NYC. The food is unique, but very reasonably priced, and delicious! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxed, and fun! The decor is neat and the set up of the restaurant makes things very casual and comfortable. My favorite dishes the Fried Seitan Medallion Panini and the Pan seared Shanghai dumplings!
Definitely a place to try! They also have great smoothies and drinks :)

Silly's is my favorite!

Silly's has an incredible atmosphere, phenomenal food, and great decor! The staff is friendly and down to earth, and the food options are impeccable. It's a fantastic restaurant because it has equally delicious options for vegans, vegetarians, and meat-eaters alike. Everything is fresh and full of flavor. My favorite vegan dishes are the Hashpipe Burrito and the Vegan Meltaway (among many others!). Also, during the summer, the outside seating is a must! It's funky, beautiful and fun. I definitely recommend Silly's to anyone in the Portland area, no matter your food lifestyle!

Spice has excellent veg and non veg food, a great atmosphere, and extremely helpful and friendly staff! I had vegetable pad Thai and a mixed vegetable dish and both were very tasty. I recommend this restaurant for a fun place to go with veg and non-veg friends while in the Philly area.

Good variety, not the best food

I had an overall good experience at SuTao Cafe but it was completely empty when I went with my family. The buffet had excellent variety, and I loved that everything was vegan. I was disappointed with the freshness and quality of the food, though. Everything seemed to have been sitting out for hours and a lot of the food was fried, which I don't like. The sushi was good and there was a salad bar, which I appreciated. The prices were good, but our waitress wasn't very friendly or outgoing. Overall okay experience at SuTao Cafe.

Easy and fast

Terri is a small convenient lunch place in the financial district. I got a great portobell/veggie sandwich and loved it. My non-vegan friend got a "chicken" cesar wrap and really enjoyed it, even though he's not too into vegan food. They have a lot of fake meat options for those who are interested. Not much seating room, but close to Madison Square Park for a picnic!
