Chocolate Hemp Soft Serve! Yum!!!
My boyfriend and I found this place on accident while heading to Trader Joes and a Natural Food coop and saw the vegan softserve sign and had to stop in! I'm glad we did because the Chocolate Vegan Hemp SoftServe was the perfect treat and it was a nice place to relax between stops!

Highly Addictive, may need to move in!
If I lived a little closer, I would probably eat here every night of the week! The Falafel & Hummus Pita Sandwich is fantastic and inexpensive and they have many other vegan-friendly options as well. The owners are very friendly and passionate about the food, music, customers and service. They are kind and generous and have given us samples and surprises on many visits and even donated gift certificates and food for some of our charity work!

Quick visit to scope it out!
My boyfriend and I were visiting Seattle and trying to hit as many veg places as we could in about 2 days so we popped in here for a beer but were already too stuffed from another place to try any of their food. The beer was nice and cold, and the people watching was fascinating (lots of people with dreadlocks were there plus it is upstairs and overlooks the busy street below). The menu looked great and pretty extensive but no desserts were listed and when we asked, we were told they have vegan dessert one night a week? That seemed very odd to us. An all vegan place with an extensive menu should certainly offer dessert every day right? : ) It's hard to give this an accurate rating without tasting the food so I have to go with 3 cows, but I felt like someone should write a review because there weren't any. We also had a hard time finding this place because the map was locating it too far south on Broadway. We were unable to call them because there was no answer and their voicemail box was full. Their website needs a lot more information!

Had to go there twice!!!
My boyfriend and I were visiting Seattle for the first time as vegans and wanted to try out as many places as we could but we were so impressed with Plum Bistro that we had to go there for a weekend brunch as well as dinner! We tried their version of macaroni and cheese and thought it was better than any we remembered eating as omnivores. We also ordered their Quinoa Nachos, Portabello appetizer, cornmeal crusted seitan with mushroom gravy, and the seitan with mole sauce (not all of this was in one visit! ha ha) and thought all were excellent! We also tried their drinks such as Spanish Lemonade and Sangria and were also impressed! We were impressed with their prices because we are used to paying more at the limited vegan places where we live. We highly recommend Plum Bistro for the food, ambiance, price, service and location!

My boyfriend and I popped into this place to check it out while visiting Seattle. We ordered 2 Vanilla Soy Lattes and were very impressed with the foaminess. They use a different Barista Series soymilk which we have never tried and it made a big difference in the frothiness. Most of their desserts (aside from the vegan doughnuts) were vegetarian and not vegan when we happened to visit but we did get one vegan cookie and it was delicious. Porchlight is in a nice location to stroll around if the weather is nice. It's a bare bones, simplistic type of place.

My boyfriend and I were visiting Seattle and took a bus to the University district to check out Side Car for Peace Pigs and the Wayward Cafe and we loved that we could order breakfast or lunch items all day! We just wished they were open later so we could have squeezed in one more visit before leaving town. I ordered the TLT and it was fabulous and my boyfriend ordered the special, a Wayward Club, stacked high with all sorts of yumminess! The guy who took our order was very friendly and helpful and we would eat here all the time if we didn't live across the country! I liked how they cook in cast iron and everything is vegan. The prices are very reasonable and they have a nice location for strolling around and checking out Side Car or the Pizza Pi but we ran out of time so never got the pizza.
