Grocery Shopping = Fun Shopping
Central Market has an absolute superb assortment of unique food items from all over the world and for all diet/meal plans. They even have a fantastic restaurant/deli type area with fresh gourmet food unlike I have ever seen before. Every time I finish my grocery errands I am left satisfied and content with such a great all-in-one marketplace. Who says grocery shopping can't be fun?!

Veggie Haven was an enjoyable little restaurant tucked away in the corner of a bustling UT neighborhood. As others have noted the staff could have had more of the traditional cheery-vege-face attitude however the lack of enthusiasm didn't take away from my overall meal and experience.
I ordered the Protein 2000(rather funny name at first glance) which was cooked to just the right crispy texture and served with a generous bowl of steamed rice. Adorning the dish was a tangy lemon pepper sauce which brought out the flavor of the dish very nicely. The coconut bubble tea I ordered served as the ideal accompaniament, and unlike many places that overcook the poor tapioca pearls these were just to my liking.
I even bought a cute colorful asian inspired t-shirt on my way out! Delightful little place overall.

Vegetarian Cuisine at its BEST!
Green Vegetarian Restaurant has become my new absolute favorite restaurant! After living in San Antonio for years now it has been torture not having a vegetarian restaurant like Green around all this time.
On my weekly run to the cozy artsy restaurant I ordered one of my favorites: a traditional southern tasting vege homemade meatloaf called "neatloaf" seasoned to perfection, with a fresh fruit salad, and mouth watering sweet potato fries. Even after cleaning my plate off, I couldn't resist and ordered the to-die-for vegan rich chocolate cake(which is made out of tofu!). I left completely full and completely content!
(In response to a message below concerning a lack of "healthy options" at Green, I wanted to disagree and point out that there were a plethora of items on the menu including the hummus appetizer, spring rolls, raw deal wrap, apple/pecan salad, portabella steak, stir fry, fruit and vege salads, etc. Green doesn't advertise itself as a "health" restaurant so to accuse it of not being so is rather unfair. It states simply that it is a vegetarian restaurant, and a fantastic one at that!)
