18/5 Ratchawithin Rd, T. Sriphom A, Chiang Mai, Thailand
This place has just been open for 20 days. Service is good, atmosphere is pleasant, it is on the 2nd floor and you have to walk through a travel office to get to it but it is well marked on the 1st floor outside. Staff was friendly and they promised to have more vegan options on the menu as well as they would be happy to accommodate vegans. Salad was very tasty. They are expanding the menu early next week adding indian food and more vietnamese and thai food. My girlfriend really enjoyed the coconut mushroom soup.

This Location is Closed
We went to the exact address and were guided by many locals. This shop no longer exists. We were able to find the Evah Macrobiotic Cafe at Hakata station - but this location is closed.

Quiet, Friendly, and Good Food
Today I went to Giva and as soon as I ordered another staff in training appeared to help prep the food so it appears as if the owner has built in some scalability of service for those who have complained in the past.
This was my second time to go and I plan to go again. The food is a bit rich if you are eating mainly fruit as I do, but filling and delicious. I would not go everyday, but this is definitely on my list of places to eat at as often as I can.

Raw Till 4 High Carb Low Fat Easy Done
Happy Green does not have the fastest service in town but the food quality is beyond all others. Freshly picked salads from the garden make it difficult to remain 100% vegan with the ants but this is the norm for a great organic restaurant as the life-force is on your plate. Are they selling organic sweet potatoes or potatoes? No problem, ask them to make you a mash up as even though it is not on the menu they will be happy go get it done. Tell them to hold the oils and salts and they will comply. Don't trip over grandmother lounging between the kitchen and the open back deck. Don't wait for a server, get up and talk to the staff. Are you fully raw? Now problem as they'll blend a smoothie as you sip coconut water. This place is the real deal and while others would drop stars for the quicks I would rate more than 5 stars when compared to other places with the commercial feel, the light plate, and the view of walls and non-organic ingredients.

Excellent Staff and Food
I was there for Songkran and ordered the channa masala (chickpea curry) which was awesome! Make sure to tell them if you are a vegan and you do not want an ghee or butter in any of your food. Vegans may want to avoid the buffet and order a la carte. I did not see any meat in the buffet when I was there. Only on the menu but this place seems authentic vegetarian.

Great vegan options - just tell the owner and they will bring a separate menu and veganize the vegetarian items they can - their are some they cannot. The babaganush is delicious and don't miss the soup. Try the curry and tell them to spice it up if you like it hot! Falafel was awesome. Great vegan option in amongst the fish and pork options of Okinawa eateries. Ate there many times to include one time take out.

Mediocre - SERVES FOIS GRAS - a HappyCow no-no
Not able to order a pizza sans vegan cheese. Ordered a medium and a large pizza and 2 salads and it was very expensive. Gluten free is NOT AVAILABLE and there is no special vegan menu as claimed. All pizza dough is vegan but I can order the same at almost any pizza place in the world and they are happy to hold the cheese so do not understand why they must force feed vegan cheese at this place. Not enough veggies on the pizza considering the price.

Best Burritos on Okinawa
Great food truck and vegan burritos. First come first serve as he will only take one customer at a time so get to know who got there first and be polite as he does get busy. If someone is waiting they are waiting to order not for their food. He will run out of guacamole and close shop so don't wait until the last minute.
