Prinsengracht 60-62, Amsterdam, Netherlands

Must-visit in Amserdam for vegans

27 Dec 2012

The fist thing you see when you find and enter this place it is nice exterior and interior. Then friendly smiling staff. Then you get the menu which has many food options to chose from. Then you taste the dishes and finally conclude that the restaurant is worth visiting. I can't say that it is cheap but I am ready to pay for excellent food, non intrusive service, and great atmosphere.

Rio Marin, S. Croce 888, Venice, Italy

Ordinary tea room

We did not find this place so good as previous reviewers. Yes, it is well located. The owners are friendly. The cafe provides vast variety of teas, much less than the variety of foods. besides, food options are pricey. For instance, the soup costs EUR 10. Yeah, it is Venice but still... 5 options of desserts are also not that much. Still, the owners are very helpful and talkative, the atmosphere is cozy, and the desserts are tasty.

Nice place to visit in Venice

One of the best places to have deliciuos dinner in the chilly evening. The staff are friendly and speak English. There is variety of dishes on the menu. The food is very tasty. They serve the best falafel we have ever tasted. The prices are not low but still not higher than the average restaurant prices in Venice.

Mikolajska 14, Krakow, Poland

Number one in Krakow

We have been to several vegetarian cafes in Krakow during our stay there. And this one won our votes for a few reasons: friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, reasonable prices (really cheap), large portions, good value of food, wide choice of dishes, excellent location. The only thing that can be improved is marking vegan options (matters for vegans). But this is not a problem because the staff are always ready to tell you which dishes are vegan.

Not bad food, affordable prices (really cheap for Amsterdam), if you don't have much time - good place for fast snack

Eerste van der Helststraat 43, Amsterdam, Netherlands

Good food

Nice small but cozy place not far from Sarphati Park, reasonable prices (less than 10 euros for falafel menu, French fries and drink), friendly owner-chef who is always ready to offer variety of dressings and side dishes in addition to falafel. We found out about this place thanks to HappyCow and it didn't dissappoint us. We ate there several times during our stay in Amsterdam and were very satisfied with the food.

Kurabiye Sokak 8-10, Istanbul, Turkey

Not bad overpriced food

27 Dec 2012

Having read HappyCow reviews we decided to visit this place during our stay in Istanbul. Like the reviewers wrote, Zenzefil's prices are very high compared to other Istanbul's places. They do charge additional 2 TL for bread and butter. Nevertheless, it is worth visiting if you are a vegetarian in Istanbul and not short of money. We enjoyed the food there. The restaurant is locaded in city center. The interior and inner garden are nice and unusual for this city.
