It is good
I was not going to write a review, others have, but I noticed a reviewer in 2009 had written a bad review. Maybe this person hit a bad patch then, but not now. The restaurant is good: tasty food, wide variety, daily specials (I always ask for the special, never know what I will get, but always good), and friendly staff (they always give me something extra!). I cannot see how anyone could complain. The one mild annoyance is that the restaurant is always busy. It is not a place to linger over your food and contemplate life. I invariably swing by here at least once in Sing. Recommended.
Jalan Panderman 22, Java, Indonesia
update Jan 2014
I visited the restaurant in January 2014. It is operational, looks good, and includes a small shop that sells a variety of vegetarian food. My experience of the restaurant was hampered by the fact that I was not served. I waited 20 mins for service, and then left. The restaurant was not crowded. No idea.
The actual location of the restaurant differs slightly from the map (as at this date). It is further along, at the intersection of Telomoyo and Pandeman Rds.
4/1 Pruksa Uthit Road, Muang Krabi, Krabi, Thailand
A short review, confirming the previous. Great small restaurant, food very tasty, great use of spice. Recommended.
131 Namueang, Surat Thani, Thailand
The first veg resto in Surat Thani
Veg restaurants do exist in Surat, but they have a low profile. This is the best of the lot. There is not a great variety of food on offer, nor is it gourmet quality, but it is filling, and, the price cannot be beat. A few dollars for a full meal.
85/2 Tanao Road, Banglumpu, Bangkok, Thailand
Went there many times Oct and Dec 2010. Enjoyed chatting to the owner. Love the range of food and the effort that goes into the place. Was always busy, I do like a quiet place where I can sit and skype and internet (I read the review complaining about 'old folk' like me sitting for hours using the net-- well, sonny!). Plan to return in 2011. And use the net for hours, just to annoy the young people.
23A and 25A Wisma Kota Emas, Jalan Dato Tahwil Azat, Ipoh, Malaysia
Good food, good value.
One visit at night Jan 2012. The food is good, tasty, with generous portions. One serve is 5-7 ringgit. Two serves and you are full. Tasty and nutritious drinks for 3-4 ringgit. Chinese themed. Lots and lots of fake meat dishes. A family restaurant, lots of families. Was near full, crowded, a little overly noisy (that is the only downer, but not a biggee).
Central Airport Plaza Food Court, 4th floor, Chiang Mai, Thailand

Jl. Kemetiran Kidul 1, Terusan Jl. Dagen, Malioboro, Java, Indonesia
I visited the LH Malioboro in late January 2014. I immediately noticed that the restaurant was not at the address given, fortunately, I was able to obtain the new address from a local.
After eating I found a good menu range, the food to be tasty, and the service as quick as I could hope for. I will be going again, and again.
Jl. Sumbawa 37, Biliton, Surabaya, East Java, Java, Indonesia
Ditto previous reviews. Good food. Wide variety. Little English.
The restaurant is located on the corner, not on the middle of the street.
Bangna Trad Road Soi 32, Bangkok, Thailand
Great spot. recommended
about 100m plus down soi 32. good cheap food. skip eating at central across the road.
G35 & G37 Jalan PM 4, Plaza Mahkota, Bandar Hilir, Malacca, Malaysia
To echo all other reviewers, this is an excellent restaurant. Tasty food, inexpensive, good location. The only drawback (to me) was the preponderance of fake meat dishes, however, I overcame my aversion and tried several. All tasty. The food is prepared fresh for you, and if there are lots of customers expect a wait.
29/4 Chang Moi Kao Rd, Tombol Chang Moi, Amper Muang, Chiang Mai, Thailand
Confirm previous reviews. Great food. English menu.
33 Samsen Road, Soi 1, Banglamphu, Bangkok, Thailand
Been there many times in 2010. Hope to go again. My review, see above. Tasty, varied, fun atmosphere.
Updated from previous review on Monday March 07, 2011.
Saturday night buffet for not very much (~150b, I forget exact figure), cheap.
444 Phayathai Rd, Bangkok, Thailand
fine food fun price
Quick meal. All good. 2 dozen selections. spicy. English signage.
Jalan Sawo, Malang, Java, Indonesia
The food is tasty, substantial portions, and varied. Hours are irregular, depending on the number of customers, so go early (before 19.00) to be sure.
86, Ratchadamnoen Road, Chiang Mai, Thailand
Concur with the above, but let me add, very tasty. Small place, maybe a dozen dishes, you select what you want, take away or dine in. Great value, 25 baht for two selections, plus rice, plus small bottle of water.
3377, Jalan Gajah Mati, Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Kota Bharu, Malaysia
Great value, great food
I visited the city and this restaurant in mid January 2013. Buffet only, a dozen plus items, lots of soy. The food was tasty, and varied. Busy with locals in the evening. I could not figure out the actual price structure, little English spoken and the staff were shy, but a heaped plate plus a fruit drink was ~$5. I would definitely re-visit if I head that way again. Recommended.
1049 Haisoke Road, Nong Khai, Thailand
Ok restaurant, but not a veg restaurant
I visited this on the strength of its rep as a "cool" place to hang, on the Mekong River. Very nice, but minimal veg options, less so than other places not on happycow.
Go for the ambiance, not the food.
