I was a big fish fan prior to becoming vegan, so my expectations were high, perhaps too high, when coming to Beyond Sushi. What you will get at this establishment is a sleek, clean, and enjoyable environment, and you will eat some creative sushi rolls. I had a Spicy Mango roll: black rice, avocado, mango, cucumber, served with toasted Cayenne sauce. I also had the nicely portioned seaweed salad, which was refreshing and good. I enjoyed Beyond Sushi, but it's not a comparable experience with "real" sushi.

Great sandwich on the go!

I had the BLT Caesar with "un-chicken", soy bacon, lettuce, tomato, and caesar dressing, and I loved it. It was filling and had great texture and taste. It was a bit pricey at almost $9, but the convenience of having a variety of vegan sandwiches made quickly and on demand merits the price points at Blossom Du Jour. Will return, probably regularly.

Ate the veggie lasagna and sat outside. The red sauce was somewhat spicy and quite delicious. Meal came with fine sized Arugala salad. Will surely return!

Enjoy vegan food in a fine dining atmosphere. I are the nachos, which, at $16 and listed as an appetizer, I thought would be sufficient for a meal. They were delicious but a very small serving. Still, the waitress was nice and my order came quickly. Will return with friends.

My mom and I split a southwestern vegan scramble and a green dinner juice. Both were delicious. The scramble could have included more than one slice of toast and the juice was less sweet than I expected but all in all a delicious meal.

Second time dining at Adama and my selection was as delicious as it was during my first visit. I had the club, which was large enough to share with another person and the meatball sub. Both sandwiches came with a small salad and both were wondeful.

Good food, slow slow slow service
21 Sep 2013
Mi Vida is a small cafe with three tables and a bar. When we ordered only one person was working and seats were only available at the bar. We started with free pressed beet juice, which was sadly watery and did not have the ginger flavor that I like in my juice. The kale chips were spicy and delicious. Finally, the vegan sloppy joe was fantastic, but it should have been at $16. Good food but the service was terrible. Also, the prices were far too high for the portions and service. I enjoyed lunch but won't make a special trip to visit again.

Fine Vegan Option

The ambiance is wonderful, but the service was slow. I ate the burrito with cashew cheese, should you like to know. My dad ate the veggie burger, the better choice of the two. It came with a side salad and had a sweet sauce to boot.

Delicious vegan dishes in a beautiful environment. This is a great date spot. Order the tasting menu for two.

Pickle/Salad Bar Worth the Trip!

Whenever I come I order a falafel sandwich and then enjoy the amazing variety of pickles, olives, tomatoe salads, and all the other delicious extras on the side. I think the veggies are better than the sandwich!

Even better than UWS
21 Sep 2013
After enjoying the delicious food at Peacefood's UWS locations, I was thrilled to discover that they had another right near my work. I ate the quinoa salad, which was wonderful and came with a full avocado right on top. The ambiance is nicer than the UWS version, with more space and more natural light. The baked goods are all fantastic. I recommend the raspberry crumb bar or the carrot cake.

First stop on my tour of vegan NY. Had the Roasted Japanese Pumpkin sandwich, which had caramelized onions and arugula. Very good. Don't skip the delicious and refreshing Gingerade. So great. Although I didn't get to try it, the man next to me said the carrotcake was the best he'd ever had in his life. He had a cheeseburger with the works and it looked appetizing,

I love Taco Bus

I love Taco Bus! Order the vegan burrito with tempeh or without. I spilt the meal with my boyfriend. The drinks are very sugary so I recommend mixing them with water or ice tea. Again, delicious food, great portions, right price.

Almost too good for words!

I was quite excited to finally make it to The Cinnamon Snail and as it turns out, my expectations were met with the delicious food I ate today. The line when I was arrived was eight-people long and by the time I ordered another eight people were behind me. After going back and forth about what to order, I landed on the Ancho Chili Seitan burger with beer simmered onions and garlic. Wow! I finished off my way-too-big sandwich with an amazing blueberry Hibiscus glazed donut. I don't even like donuts ordinarily, but this was just so sweet and slightly tangy. Can't wait to return! Everything on the menu looked super.
