Cannaregio 1122, Venezia, Venice, Italy
We were rather disappointed in restaurants in Venice (in taste & price) and then found Gum Gum.
The service is good, it is by the water and near markets, and the food was excellent. It is not cheap but reasonable for Venice with great selections for Vegetarians/Vegans.
Also I think as Vegetarian/Vegan, Italian food could get boring at some point so this was a nice change.

Good Place a bit out of town
We were happy to find this place. depending on where you are staying, this might be a bit out of town restaurant for you.
And it does not open till 1:30pm and 9pm (I forgot the closing time).
We had a house salad and fried brown rice with Seitan and mushroom. the salad had some out of jar asparaguses and maybe frozen sweet corn which I find disappointing.
The brown rice was oily. But still so grateful to find a restaurant which offers something like seaweed, tofu, seitan etc.

Go if you want to hang out but not to eat
I can echo others disappointment. It has nice ambience, but food was terrible. We had Indian curry and vegetarian couscous. It was cold in the middle, maybe microwaved, over cooked veggies on top and very little sauce on the grain.
I saw nice looking desert but did not dare to order as the pricing was not cheap in this place.
I would go there for a drink (expensive though) to rest/ look out to the street but not for eating.
It is really a pity as it could do so much with the location.
Dorsoduro 780, Venice, Italy
We found the restaurant no prob. The setting is great but service is not good for the price they ask. OK, the menu is marked and you can have a little different (but not much) choices but..
On our antipasto, there was a bit of salmon dropped by accident and I did wonder if they treat Veggie dishes separately or have awareness about them as the marked menu indicate some what.
The table charge, the price and service all together was really not worth it for me.
