Gourmet Girls Friday Night Pop Up

16 Nov 2012

Excellent food . No choice as it is a set menu. It varies each Friday and is frequently based on a country. Mainly organic produce is used and it is a family atmosphere as most people who go are regulars (which speaks for itself). Highly recommended.

Loving Hut Cafe

16 Nov 2012

An excellent small cafe. Lovely food, reasonably priced with friendly staff. Both English and Chinese food. I highly recommend this place.

expensive

Lovely place and it was recommended by my son. However the food was disappointing. The starters were nice but the main course chosen by three of us was bangers and mash. It was expensive $15 for mash and gravy (lovely) half an onion (odd) no other veg. and two large but very spicy "sausages". In the UK "sausages" always taste similar to standard UK pork sausages. These seemed like the German hot spicy sausages -never actually eaten them-. I thought bangers was a British slang word so expected a mild sausage . None of us could eat them. We shared two vegan sweets (the only choice possible for vegans. There was no vegan icecreme but the sorbet was lovely. I didn't like the Choc. chip cookie as I have tasted better. Over all it was expensive for poor food of small portions and I will not go again when there are cheaper places which provide larger portions and taste much better. They should describe the sausages as spicy or "German/Austrian etc. We had to tip of course on top of the high cost.. Other places do not expect tips

Excellent for all but especially vegans . So many choices, but I love the Funghi. It is also open in the evening which is a bonus. If I lived in
Brighton I would be there every week !

Seaford Health Store

16 Nov 2012

A fairly large independent health Store. It sells many vegan foods Fry's/Redwood's /Tofutti etc. and organic Veg, The staff are friendly, helpful and polite. They are willing to order in products they do not usually carry. I moved to Seaford partly for the Health Store.

The best !

Excellent cafe, the best for vegans in
eastbourne . So popular, that booking is essential ! Health and tasty food with friendly proprietors and staff. I would be there every week if it was easier to get a seat and I lived in the area . They need larger premises.

Two Veggie Grills in L A were brilliant.

I visited two Veggie Grills and both were excellent. Good value . Large portions for reasonable cost. Plenty of different choices. One of my 3 favourite places here. Could not find fault at all. Very clean pleasant environment.
