Best food for dinner. So tasteful and full of taste :)

Assi Ghat, Varanasi, India

A gem in a sea of chaos

15 Jan 2011

Veranasi is...Varanasi. Foodwise, nearly everywhere is unsafe to eat and you risk getting sick after every meal. Aum cafe is very wonderful. It's owned by a woman from northern California who's ended her journey in Varanasi. The atmosphere is very western So if you're looking for authentic India this isn't you're place. However, if you want a warm, welcoming place offset from the craziness of the city but still close to everything then you'll feel at home here. Great food, perfect prices. And everything is very clean and healthy. Best place I saw in India and I went there 5 times in 3 days...

Ratchadamnoen Rd, Chiang Mai, Thailand

fresh and made to order

01 Feb 2013

Good food made fresh to order. The owner is very stressed but kind. Made a mistake and offered us that dish free when we didn't eat it. Great juices and good vegan options. Good atmosphere but its changed a lot since some of the employes left. Hopefully they get back on track. Good prices :) eat the beet root salad

American in Thailand

Very western and the owner is great. Food is wonderful and wonderful in comparison to having Thai food every day. Free wifi and comfortable setting. On the bad side, it's pricey and with one dish I'm never full and you have to take two things or an appetizer as well to fill up.

friendly and good food

Very friendly staff and great food. It's a bit hard to find(if you don't have directions) so look up the address first. Had a few items and dessert and all was really quite good. Best meal experience ive had so far in Thailand. The owner and cook are very dedicated and have even put together a book of reviews of bangkoks top veggie restaurants (with photos!). Check this place out!mmm

Soi Putta Osot 184, Bangkok, Thailand

number 1 Indian Restaurant in BKK

08 Aug 2013

for whatever reason most indian food is very expensive in bkk. NOT here. the prices are beyond cheap and i eat with 2 or 3 people with drinks and dishes for less than i can eat alone on silom, which is 5 minutes walk from here. try the kabab dish. its amazing, as is the monchow soup! great staff from india and burma and most speak good english. im a frequent here ;)

Good place but very overpriced. Won't return just based on the pieces here. It's Bangkok not hongkong

If you're vegan...

As the title says, go to tibits. It's cheaper and the same food. However, If you wanna go somewhere for a nice date, this is your place...the menu offers nearly nothing for vegans which is why id say to just go to tibits instead

Vientiane, Vientiane, Laos

great buffet

05 Sep 2012

Close to the bus and great food. I'd go again. All traditional Laos food, which was great, and unlimited sticky rice :)

JJ Market, Asadathorn Rd., T.Changpuak A. Muang, Chiang Mai, Thailand

perfect. A MUST!

Best buffet in Thailand by far! Vegan or meat eater, you will not be disappointed. Go before 2:30 for the buffet for sure! Must go if you're veg or vegan

One of the best thai food restaurants worldwide. its very clean and the food is always made fresh. the buffet on the weekends is great as well and you will leave fuller than you can possibly imagine. they have free wifi and the setting is very relaxed. on the other hand, it is not very 'authentic'. if you are looking for an authentic thai experience this is not the place to go. the only people who eat here are smelly, hippy tourists with backpacks. if youre vegan, try the thai iced tea with coconut milk. ask for it! :) the cooking class is great too, if you are visiting and want a fun time!

8/3 Sukhumvit Soi 16, Bangkok, Thailand

The service and owners here make the experience a warm welcome compared to other Thai restaurants. The good is good and very clean and healthy. It's one of my favorite places in Thailand :) a little pricey I'd say but worth the money. A dish and drink will run you about 100, which is very cheap, but still more than other places in bkk

444 Phayathai Rd, Bangkok, Thailand

good for the price

27 Dec 2012

It is what it is; mall food. On the other hand, it's verrry cheap and tasty and worth the 30 or 50 baht for a couple things with rice that you pay. Eat here once a week at least,

one of the nicer places ive visited in my life, as far as bakeries go. it has the feel of a victorian cafe from years past and the vegan truffles and baked goods are unlike any other. i have yet to find many places throughout europe that are comparable to places in the states but this places is one of them. only disappointing fact is that its not all vegan...
