Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I don`t believe in using animals for meat. I want to go vegan but i`m not financially or physically able to right now. The only thing that makes the difference between meat and a dead body is that it`s edible. Not that it is`nt a dead body, but people think it`s ok to eat meat.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

The honest reason why I joined HappyCow is because I was looking for a chat room for vegetarians, and I found this site, and it`s actually the best chat room i`ve been on.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

My favorite restraunts are Jason`s Deli and Souper Salad. I love the salad bar and the baked potatoes both restraunts have. I also like chinese restraunts. My friend oneoh1 is always talking about the restraunts in Toronto where he lives that is vegan that I would like to go to. Since I want to be a vegan, I want to visit Toronto and check out the vegan places there. My aunt told me about Veggie Heaven in Austin. I want to go there. She also told me about a few others that I would like to visit.

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

My favorite foods are rice, mashed potatoes, and spaghetti. I also like Morning Star fake meat. It`s really good. I have tried chicken nuggets, chicken patties, bbq riblets, meat balls, bacon, and I think that`s it. I love fruit and salads. I`m going to a new high school this year, so i`m not sure what they will have in the cafeteria. I`m planning on making my own lunches, but my friend told me that the cafeteria will provide more veggie options.

I don`t read or watch much stuff that is vegetarian related, but if you are not a vegetarian, you should watch earthlings. It`s about what animals go through in the meat industry. I also have a blog on uvegetarian.blogspot.com. I have`nt updated it in a while, but I will when school starts again because the computer is really slow here.
