More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I love animals more than anything. If I could, I would rescue them all. My ultimate life goal is to open a sanctuary to care for some of the most beautiful, innocent creatures out there.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

Unfortunately, I live in an area where vegans are a very, very tiny part of the population. I have yet to find people that have the same love of animals that my fiance and I do. Whenever I speak about veganism to my peers, I am made fun of and treated like I am the dumbest person out there. I need positive, vegan influences in my life.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

I absolutely adored the Pacific NW, and I hope to make it my home someday. It was so nice to be able to say, "Where do you want to get breakfast/lunch/dinner today?" and have too many 100% vegan choices to actually get to try them all. Those kind of options are unimaginable where I am now. I would love to visit southern California to try all of the vegan-friendly places there.

I love cooking, and "veganizing" some of my childhood favorites. Anything considered comfort food is definitely my favorite.
