Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
Im just starting out but if feeling amazing by cutting out the processed crap and meats that I feed my body isnt enough of a reason to do this, then watching those awful slaughter house documentaries definitely turned me off for good.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I am researching places to find the most information and recipes on this new journey Im venturing on and I found this place. I figure the more knowledge and resources I can retain, the easier this transition can be for me.

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
the documentary that started this whole revolution was Vegucated!!! Its on Netflix and I highly recommend it if you havent seen it already!!! I also love Forks over Knives, Fat sick and nearly dead, and Farmageddon. Of course one of my all time favorite movies is Eat, Pray, Love. Not sure how relevant it is to this but it definitely offers some personal inspiration.
