More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

Started as a lacto-ovo-vegetarian due to the ethics of factory farming. Switched to vegan during my pregnancy and being threatened with possibly having to take blood pressure meds; watched "Vegucated" and saw how their BP dropped after ridding their diets of diary. Also, couldn't handle the sight of the mama birthing her calf and seeing the calf dragged off immediately while mama mooed after her newborn.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

Love Paris (well okay everywhere in France), Germany, and Italy. Would like to get to South America at some point, or Australia.

Any of Iss Chandra Moskovitz's recipes. I make Pasta Con Broccoli a lot! Also am a fan of homemade pizza. Oh and anything in the slow cooker! Quick and Easy Vegan Slow Cooker Recipes is the best.
