About:
I've been vegan for a little over a year now, and it is the best decision I've ever made. I forced myself to watch the horrors of factory farming, and I decided I could no longer contribute to the rape, torture, and murder of these innocent sentient beings. I am devoting my internet presence to being an advocate for animal rights (and for getting Bernie Sanders elected president).

More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

100% for the animals, but veganism also benefits the planet and our health

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

I rely a lot on Happy Cow to find places with vegan options when I am travelling.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

Asheville, NC, is a great city for vegans. Place I would most like to visit is Salzburg, Austria.

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

Love love love me some tofu. It's so versatile. Gardein has an excellent line of meat alternatives.

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

Vegan Daily Companion, Do Unto Animals, Living the Farm Sanctuary Life. Good cookbooks are Thug Kitchen and Betty Goes Vegan.
