More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I used to work for an un-named global restaurant company. I know a lot of things about meat that I never wanted to know, especially poultry. Think chicken is clean, because it is white? Ha! I could really ruin a Thanksgiving Dinner, if I wanted to.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

I have used this website more often than I realized, when travelling. I could never find anything to eat, so I Googled 'vegetarian restaurants' once, and found this place.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

Whole World Bakery in Columbus, Ohio - went there every day for lunch and dinner, when I was up there for business.

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

I like my own white bean soup - I make tons of it, and freeze it. I love making tacos and burritos with faux meat (my wife is a carnivore, but I am working on her). I also eat a lot of Tofurky. It is difficult to find vegetarian food in our contemporary society (well, in Louisville, KY, it is). Only one 100% vegetarian restaurant in town here. I keep Tofurky products around to make meals simple.
