- Have been eating vegetarian/vegan/mostly for about 10 years now. Trying to get back to a healthy lifestyle that is self sufficient. Been involved with Environmental rights groups in the past. Come from a "punk rock" background, so sustainability, activism, free spiritedness and DIY are values I hold close. Don't be afraid though I'm not overtly PC.

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
It's healthier and animals are necessary to the survival of the ecosystem of the planet. It's more attractive.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
Oklahoma sucks and is full of close minded right wing idiots. I joined to find more people of my own ilk in these parts.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I've been pretty much all over the US except the deep south. I've been to (most) of Europe and would someday like to travel to South-East Asia, India and China.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Any Vegetable, Any Fruit, Seitan, Baked tofu, Boca Burgers, Nutritional yeast.
