Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
Compassion. I hail from a coastal state and fish curry was my staple. Came to terms with my true vegetarian self in 2001 and have been a vegetarian since. Felt great and continues to feel absolutely fabulous being a vegetarian!
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I have been using the HappyCow website for several years now, primarily to search for vegetarian restaurants when on trips abroad. Last week, while in Bangkok, I was delighted to discover that HappyCow now also has a wonderful mobile app. I think the mobile app is a great way for vegetarians like me to sample local cuisine while being true to our ethics.
