Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

Really, it's just that I don't like meat and the whole idea just strikes me as gross. But I also understand that other people have different tastes so I have a don't judge/don't be judged policy with my omnivore friends :)

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

Actually found out about it through a veggie online survey about favorite veggie sites. With a name like "Happy Cow" i just HAD to check it out!

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

London is by far one of my most favorite places!! I also liked Dublin (ok so those are the only Non-US places I have been :) ) As for the US - I have only been to NYC once and would love to go back! I live near DC, which is great!! I suppose one day I would like to just travel the country and see what I find...

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

Veggie Sushi, tofu, Quorn, Morningstar Farms products, and so on...

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

it's not veggie - but i LOVE Oprah's mag O - it is by far one of the best written, informative, and inspiring magazines available. As for books and movies, eh - I like to be entertained and go for the fluff :) Enough of life is serious and frustraiting (just watch the news!) so every once in a while i take a break and read/watch the fluff :)
